Adam Levine publicly celebrates wife and baby for first time

Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine has publicly gushed about his unborn baby for the first time since his wife confirmed her pregnancy.

Supermodel Behati Prinsloo debuted her baby bump at the launch of her new Juicy Couture collection in New York City last month (Mar16), and just a few weeks after the Victoria's Secret beauty's first major red carpet appearance since becoming pregnant, Adam joined in on the celebration on Saturday (02Apr16) by posting a sweet Instagram photo of his family.

In the picture, Behati wears a Los Angeles Lakers cap with the team's name inscribed onto it, and the proud dad-to-be acknowledged his spouse and their unborn child by writing the caption: "My two favorite laker (sic) fans."

He signed off the loving message with emojis representing a baby, a bottle and a basketball.

Adam and Behati wed in 2014, and the singer has previously spoken about his desire to start a family with the Namibian beauty.

"If I had a kid tomorrow or in five years, that would be beautiful," he said in 2013. "I don't know when that will happen. I don't plan."

However, he knows he wants a big family: "Like 17 (kids)," he joked in 2014. "Is that reasonable? I love kids so much, though."

Behati is due to give birth later this year (16).
