Aaron Paul nearly married wife on first date

Aaron Paul almost wed Lauren Parsekian on their first date in Las Vegas.

The Breaking Bad actor married Parsekian in May last year (13) but it could have happened a year earlier when they were enjoying their first date in the city.

The pair were so convinced that they would spend their lives together that they purchased baby clothes and headed to a wedding chapel - only to discover that it was shut.

Paul tells Elle magazine, "Our first date after Coachella (music festival) was a trip to Vegas. We bought our first child a baby leather jacket from All Saints. We also jumped into a cab and said, 'Take us to the nearest chapel. We're getting married.'

"The Little White Chapel ended up being closed. We probably would have gone through with it. It would have been a pretty funny story. But I'm happy we got married when we did - a year later."
