So, the film, Total Recall, loved it. But you actually, to get into character, you slept in the apartment. Did you sleep in your character's apartment?

I did. More of, I think probably just out of boredom. I mean, you're You're clutching, you're clutching at anything you can really find within arm's reach. And even beyond that at the start of the film, you know, just trying to get yourself ready and feel confident enough to do it. Whatever the film may be, if it's a small drama or a big action film like this.

Did you get worried about oversleeping and you?

No, not really, cuz I knew the carpenters would be in, cuz it wasn't finished. So, it wasn't going to be like Jessica Biel, who walks in and you're in your, you know, your skivvies or anything. No, no, no, no. That wouldn't be That wouldn't be hot at all. That wouldn't be cricket.

What the In the film, it's all There's a lot of like implanting memories and implanting, you know, your ultimate vacation. You know where I'm going with this, aren't you?

I don't know, but we're in Los Angeles and you're talking implants, so it's not that strange a conversation yet.

If you could put the little headset on and, you know, in the film they're sort of like, "Who do you want to be? Do you want to be a superhero for a day? Do you want to be, you know, president for a day?" Who would you be for a day?

Well, certainly not president. Not not this stable. That's a lot of responsibility. Um, who would I be for a day? I have to pick a footballer, you know? I'd have to pick a footballer. I'd pick

And you're talking, you're talking soccer, right?

Yeah, soccer, yeah. Yes, the football we actually use your foot. You know, more than twice in a game.

So who would be the footballer?

I know you just took a road trip. Didn't you just take a road trip across America?

I did a while ago, yeah. Done it a couple, a few times. And saw some great things. Saw some beautiful things. Hit some restaurants.

So was it a weight-gaining mission? Did you intentionally?

Do you know what I did? I said to myself, before I left, I said I'm giving myself 20 pounds.

Well, you only gained 15, right?

I only did 15, so I left it. There's still some left in the tank. So, I'll carry that I'll carry that 5 pounds over to the next one. I'll give myself 25 pounds in that. There we go.

But wasn't it a kind of a good, cuz I know when I sometimes gain a few. It's kind of a good feeling cuz we always have to be in this business. I mean, by the end of it, I was

When I got back to Los Angeles, I felt kind of sick, like I needed to be rolled from the car. I mean, it wasn't that dramatic, but I felt like, "Whoa, I just pushed so much bad stuff into my body." I literally put so much crap into my body in the space of Like I literally have some pizza for lunch and cheeseburgers for for dinner, and then loads of like, maybe 12 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups a day and and two malt shakes.

And when you were driving, like what are you listening to in your car? Like what are you into these days or is there any like

I just I love I everything. I mean, everything from from Radiohead to Pink Floyd, to to Billie Holiday, to The National, to I don't know, Talking Heads.
