Today, we are in studio with the cast of Netflix Original let it snow. Woo! How are you guys feeling? How are you guys feeling? Are you excited for the premiere?
Oh, yeah. Incredibly. Yeah.
It's a Christmas movie around Christmas in the snow. How was filming in such cold weather?
It really bonded us. It was like going through some form of war together, I think. It's like the same thing as the movie. I mean, we're in a movie that's called Let It Snow, and we're all snowed into a town. Finding love, finding friendship, finding things out about ourselves. And that was kind of the situation in Toronto. We were thrown into a city that was probably new to some people, not new to some others, but it snowed every day. And like a lot. So we were snowed into a hotel and we got to know each other. We went to dinners and onset. We were there like 20.
Had you guys known each other before? Were you kind of just thrown in the hotel?
Actually, no. I mean, I I didn't know anyone. I didn't know anyone. No. Yeah. Which is actually wild to think about now.
Yeah, you're all hanging out with so close and everything and then.
Yeah, we grew quickly as friends like on and off camera.
And their chemistry just like obviously obviously showed. And you all grew really really close cuz you're romantically involved in the movie. You have like a romance.
Mhm. There's no cheese. Yes.
How do you prepare for that?
Well, Anna and I had the same response, which was to run around being like, I need a mint. What's a mint? Yeah. Got those mints before that snog. But it's like very considerate. Just like, oh, I've got to get it right. Wait, is my breath smell bad? Oh, no. Yeah. So, like that was our preparation. It was running around looking for gum. Thinking about the other. Yes. Feels like a first kiss. Like your first ever kiss, because you're overthinking everything. Yeah. You're like, Yeah. My parents are going to watch this. Everyone's going to watch it. Like, where do I tilt my head? What do I do? Like, it's just you're overthinking everything. What do I put my hands on your show? Like, what? What do I do? You like, it has a kiss, but like you have to like over-analyze a kiss. Like you never think you'd have to do that. You never think you'd have to do that. Definitely prefer to do my own stunts rather than a kiss.
Yeah. Do you organize like like you said, like tilting your head? Like, do you plan that with like the other person?
We did. We did a little bit. We did a little bit of talking. Yeah. Like after the first couple takes, it was like, oh, can we do that thing again? Like, they do that. Oh. Yeah. Oh, you had to say for it. So I mean.
How many times do you have to do like do the scene?
We did about like five times. Yeah, about that. Yeah. Mhm.
Does it feel like the first time every time when you do it?
No, I feel like I get better with every take, hopefully. I feel like it's It's weird because I mean, obviously, I didn't have to be romantic with anyone in this film. But last night she filmed my thing. No, except for the pig. I had a I had a pretty romantic with the pig. Oh, yeah, the dog Plippy.
So to give you kisses on your dog?
Yeah, the dog Plippy is the best. I had a nice lunch with him earlier today. Just another human name. But I also think that when you see the final product of a kissing scene or a romantic scene between two, it's way different than what people actually are realizing it to be when we're filming. Because there's 30 people watching. And camera right here with someone behind it. So what they're seeing is, you know, this romantic, sweet, and joyous thing. And we're like full frontal doing it over and over and over. Yeah, it's like, okay, now we're going to switch, flip in the world, and it's it's definitely like. It's almost like, all right, guys, this time, could we try it a bit more like? Exactly.
What is this? And so we're going to play a little game with you guys. Oh. So it's you know the game Kiss Marry Kill. We're going to do it holiday edition. So we're we have we have Allen for you guys. We have Noah and Selena. Oh. So I'm going to read off. Who would you take to holiday dinner? Who would you kiss under the mistletoe? And who would you give a lump of coal?
Ah. Oh, gosh. Who would I take out to holiday dinner? Holiday dinner. I feel like Allen would be great conversation. Mhm. Yep. Uh and then which is the other two? Kiss under the mistletoe? She's got luscious lips. We're going to luscious lips. Um uh also, we tend to be attracted to the people who look like us, so. Uh also, Noah, I'm giving him a lump of coal just because uh I would give lump of coal like a little bow tie. Oh, there you go. And make it cute. I'd make it a nice nice little no shade.
Who would you decide to kiss under the mistletoe?
Well, now that we're not doing a kiss, marry, and kill, I feel much better. Yeah. Just a lump of coal, that's not, you know. Okay. Um well, if I if I could uh what was it again? What was the under the mistletoe?
Kiss under the mistletoe dinner. Cool.
Okay, so I'm going to dinner with Allen for sure. She's the best person on the planet. I love her to death. Uh and I'm going to have to say that I'm going to kiss Selena Gomez. She was once a
You don't want to kiss Noah?
You know, a lot of people do. He's fine. A lot of people do. So I think he's good on that. I don't I honestly don't even think he'd notice my lump of coal that I'm going to give him.
No, probably not.
And and and you know what I would like just brush it off to the side, this isn't for you. Just give it to somebody else. plenty of kisses out there, man. Uh, yeah. So that's how I think. Hey. Thank you.
All right. Coal. Who would you give coal to?
Who would I give coal to? Probably Noah, right? Well, I mean, he's he's he's a really really nice guy. But like, yeah, cuz I want to take Allen to dinner. And I want to get Selena's smooch. Like I feel like we're all Yeah. I think we're all in alignment. Universally, I think this is just correct. I'm going to put googly eyes on Noah's coal, so he can have like a little pet. Oh, that's nice. Yeah. Like a paperweight. Yeah, little paperweight. Yeah. I mean, I'm the same exact answer. I think this the order we've chosen is the correct order. I think the any other order is wrong. Um I think it's just yeah. It was fixed. It was fixed. And it was stored in colors. And that's who we're going to have. Yeah. No one wants to kiss Allen. Are you guys I mean, everybody want to read it. Anybody want to read it? I couldn't do Porsha like that. No. No. Yeah. I love Porsha on on arrested development. I can't. Yeah. No. I want to kiss Selena. I'm going to take Allen to dinner and I'm going to give her a smooch.
Is that Are you going to ask your girlfriend first?
It's not it's a friendly kiss. You know, it's like, oh my god, you're the sweetest human being. You can smother them. In other countries, that is that is a that is a that is a romantic kiss. You smother her in love. Yeah. You're so nice. Consensually. You're so nice.
Well, congratulations on Let It Snow.
