We want to talk about the show and the season specifically. I feel like it's gotten a little crazy. But we found out something from your past. That you used to be a serpent. Mädchen Amick: Yeah. Yeah. And it was blasted all over the front page of the paper.

Yeah. Did you know that that was gonna happen when you read the script? Mädchen Amick: No. No. Not before it happened. I mean, I knew I knew that she had a serpent past. I just didn't know when they were gonna introduce it. So, I was shocked. I was like, whoa, hold the phone, guys. This was like a good moment. Oh, yeah. I was like, oh, I was a serpent. I was like, no. And then I was like, whoa.

What about when FP said to Alice in the season before at the truck when he was like, you know, snakes don't shed their skin? Didn't you kinda, I mean, I was like, but but no. But no. But, like, Alice. But, like, what did he mean by that? But, I mean, like, yes. Because you're a little crazy. Shady. Mädchen Amick: Shady. Yes. I mean, I wasn't gonna say it. I'm glad you did.

She's not the only one who stirred up. We have Mark Consuelos who joined the cast. Yeah. In season two. This is a big moment. And, you know, Hiram Lodge is stirring some stuff too. I'll say. Maybe not even just like everything yet. It's gonna happen. It's gonna happen. We're we're shooting episode uh 14. Is he stirring some stuff? Mädchen Amick: He's stirring some stuff.

We're calling it now, guys. It's happening. But we had him in studio and he talked about his experience with the Serpents. So, let's check it out. So, we know Hiram kind of works with the Serpents a little bit. Not necessarily directly, but he kind of has. Well, I my interpretation he has like power a little bit, right? Like he's able to control the Serpents and kind of their actions Right. while he was in prison. Right. But would you say that the Serpents are evil or is it kind of the same? They have good intentions, but You know.

I think he probably uh wouldn't consider them evil.

Okay. But useful.

But useful. That's a good word.

Yeah. I like it. Yeah. Okay, Mark Consuelos is just so handsome. It's really too bad that he isn't good looking. Mädchen Amick: Yeah. It's really it's hard on the eyes.

It must be tough for him. Mädchen Amick: Yeah. I know. It's rough. Rough. Kelly.

Seriously, right? Yeah. Yeah. But I found that it was actually really interesting because he said that he thought the Serpents were useful not necessarily evil. So what do you think about that? Mädchen Amick: It shows Hiram Lodge's intentions.

You think so? Mädchen Amick: Yeah. Clearly. He's puppet master. But um Alice Cooper is not gonna let him get away with it. Foreshadowing, guys. You're hearing it here.

The Serpents aren't the only ones causing trouble in Riverdale anymore. Oh. I mean, the Black Hood. Oh, gosh. That little thing. Yeah. The drama. That little guy. You know that there's there is an a a a conspiracy theory, I guess, going around like social media that Alice Cooper is the Black Hood. Mädchen Amick: Okay, I was gonna ask you what the weirdest or the craziest. Yeah, that. That. I'm sorry. Maybe I need to work out a little bit more, but did that like that was Alice Cooper's mind. I mean, I would put it past her.

Yeah, I was about to say. Originally, I'm not gonna lie, I kinda thought it was Sheriff Keller. Then I mean, last episode kinda steered us away from thinking that, but Right. I feel like it could be a lie because everyone's It could be tricking you to trick you. Right. Which most things do in Riverdale. Yeah. And, you know, the other thing I was thinking was that creepy janitor that's like sleeping in the corner. He's no good. He's no good. He's no good. And you know who else is no good? He shouldn't be around. The long-haired Serpent. But I feel like that's too obvious. You know who's not so obvious? This is my theory. I think it might be Alice's secret son. You think? Making an entrance in the show. What do you think? What do you think about that? Does he? Mädchen Amick: Uh, I will say that Chic Cooper um, does seem to stir up some trouble. Yes. But Alice doesn't see it because she's so desperate to make amends for giving him away.

That would be quite an entrance though. Can you imagine he was just like here I am. He makes a good entrance. Also the Black Hood. Oh, yeah. But can we also talk about another entrance? Your entrance to that party when you just like strutted everything in That's. Wer'e not. That's a slow-mo cam. I mean, let's snap our fingers and get in formation. Ladies get in formation. Because we were like, yes. Yes, Queen. Mädchen Amick: Well, that's how a Queen Bee reacts when she's outed. Does she cower? Does she hide away? No. She puts on a serpent dress and shows up to the and you and you look to the party. Fab.
