Young Hollywood

Hey everyone, welcome to Young Hollywood. I'm Molly Argu and look who's here.

Frankie Grande

Me. I'm so excited. I'm Frankie Grande. What's up?

Young Hollywood

Yes. Yes. I just want to admire all of this for a second because you walked in and I like it took me a moment to take everything in because I started with the nails, then the shoes and your hair. Right? I'm always excited to see how your hair is going to be done for the day.

Frankie Grande

Thank you. It's I'm in the Frankie hair mode, which we'll discover a little bit.

Young Hollywood

Frankie, but this is what what his hair looks like. Because you've had a lot of hairstyles.

Frankie Grande

I have, but I did go a little bit um hair for you guys today.

Young Hollywood

Do you have an all-time favorite hairstyle that you've that you've rocked?

Frankie Grande

I mean, I love the mohawk. I'm obsessed with it. I love the two-tone mohawk and then the three-tone mohawk. Like with the pink tips, it's like, come on. Like how what about the rainbow? I saw the rainbow. The rainbow from the VMAs, that was so much fun. I had crimped rainbow glitter hair. I literally was a unicorn. Not many people can say that.

Young Hollywood

No, I don't think anyone can say that. You're everywhere.

Frankie Grande

Thank you. It's fun. I love being everywhere, you know? Yeah. Like the more places I can be the better. Yeah. More things I can do.

Young Hollywood

Hosting, YouTube, TV. Broadway, that's a big one. Broadway you've been all over Broadway.

Frankie Grande

Yeah, Broadway. Yeah. But TV is really exciting, especially now because this is this is technically like my acting debut. Cuz I'm a real real reality television, hosting. Yeah, so this is my first like scripted my debut. So exciting. I'm so excited. I mean, it's such a great role. Like everyone, Dan Schneider created this character for me. We've known each other for a very long time and he always wanted to do something that shows off all the things that I can do. Right. So there I am like singing, I'm dancing, I'm flying.

Young Hollywood

And you get to play the most fun character ever. You're basically yourself, kind of.

Frankie Grande

Yeah. It is it I mean, when you see it, you'll see that it's like a little bit more a lot more. It's even more Grande than I am. But um, which is I didn't know it's possible until I played Frankie. But um yeah, there's definitely aspects of him that are very I mean, you know, I think all good art should draw from like a personal place a little bit, you know, like when you're acting. But uh this one I drew from many of the places that I already knew existed inside of myself.

Young Hollywood

And your name gets to be Frankie.

Frankie Grande

I know. It's so much fun. Can we start like Is there a hashtag or can there be like something with Frankie? #Frankie. I feel like that should just be great. Freaking the Frankie out. That's great, which comes I say freaking the Frankie out all the time. Um and then just #LiveAndDangerous because the episode is called Live And Dangerous. How great of a title is Live And Dangerous?

Young Hollywood

So cool. It's like so cool. It's kind of connected. Yeah. Well, then your sister Dangerous Dangerous Woman. Yeah, Dangerous Woman. Wow. Live And Dangerous. Frankie. Frankie. It's all connected, you guys. Are you going to go back to Broadway?

Frankie Grande

Broadway is my roots. It's my foundation. It's my core. So, yes, one day I will go back to Broadway, absolutely. Just have to know find the right, you know, project.

Young Hollywood

You want to take you back to New York?

Frankie Grande

Yeah, it would take me back to New York, but, you know, uh I love New York. Yeah. So, I mean, I'm a fashion guy.

Young Hollywood

Yes. I'm a fashion guy. What trends are you dying over right now?

Frankie Grande

I'm obsessed with color. Thank God color is becoming is actually on like every single run. Yes, come on. Like bright pops of color and but not only on the clothes on your face too. Makeup with color in it is so fabulous. I love like color strobing, which is like where you would put like the highlighter on your face, you actually use like a blue or a pink or a yellow or an orange. Yeah, like on the like where you would do the highlighter. You can actually use like a color. That's cool. And it's so pretty.

Young Hollywood

Let's toss out the interview because we all want to see more of Frankie.

Frankie Grande

It's over? I know. That was it? I know. I could talk to you for another 30 minutes.

Young Hollywood

Yeah, for real. Well, we'll chat after. Okay. We'll chat a little bit after. Can you give us a little Frankie sample, like facial expression or a line or something so that we can hold on to Frankie until we can see more.

Frankie Grande

His opening um line, uh I don't know if I can remember the whole thing, but it was something like, oh my God, emergency, emergency. There's an emergency. You're all invited to my party. It's very, very large. Like a little bit over the top. Just a tiny bit.

Young Hollywood

I want to go to that party. It's so much fun.

Frankie Grande

The party is really fun. You just I winked as if you know what I'm talking about. You don't know what I'm talking about. We'll watch the episode then you'll know what I'm talking about. Rewatch this after you'll see what the wink is. Bye. Boom.
