Vince Vaughn's Internship Tips!

Vince Vaughn. Nice to see you pal. You dressed up, I didn't get the memo.

Well, I had to. I did get I did get the memo. They said you cannot dress in kind of comfortable clothes. Oliver has the market cornered on that. Let's put you in a suit, let's stuff you up and let's sit you down for the kids. How are you kids? This is nice to be here. All these kids.

And we are here not for the kids. Um for the internship.

That's right. But the internship's for the kids as well. For the kids as well. We're looking at some sort of mental Hunger Games against a bunch of genius kids for just like a handful of jobs. Come in here. You got to come in close here. You're reunited with Owen Wilson in it. And you're both interns, you lie your way in basically.

Well, lie's such a strong word that you know, you have to be in college to be an intern. Right. And so we joined the Proud Online Institution of the University of Phoenix. The fighting Phoenixs.

Not lie. You bent the rules a little bit.

Well, we conveniently found a way in. You're interns. Shut up. Deal with it.

But you're so old though. I thought you were important. Have you ever bent the rules to get somewhere in real life?

Boy, as an actor I think when you're younger, if they ask you something, you always would say absolutely. Can you ride a horse? Are you kidding me? I grew up riding. And then you show up and you don't know what the hell you're doing but you just want to get the part. So you'll say yes to anything that is the question. The resume's that long. 10 years of ballet. Right.

10 years of ballet. What are you talking about?

I said Hollywood Ray, baby. What's the move about right now? Where am I showing up? Easy.

Exactly. And you mentioned it is at the Google headquarters. Google played a massive part in the movie. What's the craziest thing you've ever Googled? What makes you you're history in Google.

I can go down the Foxhole like nobody's business. Okay. I like seeing all the YouTube videos and the stuff that's out there. I've always wondered about that worst wedding DJ ever. Okay. Did he get more work from that? Or did that shut him down? Does anyone have the answer to that question?

I would think that people would want to book him. And his lady And his lady sidekick. We should get him in for a party.

I don't know. I like him from I like watching him there but I don't know that I need to get up up close and personal with him.

And you guys have interns in Young Hollywood?

We do, yeah. We have a lot of interns. How do these young angels get a chance to to intern? Do we have that information?

They right in. Knock on the door.

Knock on the door. That's right. Knock on my door. Knock on all the doors. Honestly he needs it. He needs it in his life. Internship do's and don'ts. Uh I guess first and foremost, and maybe most importantly, smells matter. Okay. So

Are you suggest you're confident in your you're confident in your smell.

Well, I don't know smell me. But are you confident going in?

I'm confident. Okay. What's happened here is you picked a fragrance that you found enjoyable to your nose and you said let me share that with others. Okay. Can I say something to you? Yes. Fantastic. Thank you. And also smells do matter. Thank you. I think that's also important for the interns out there. Let's not hide our money under the soap. You don't want to be the person who people kind of like and then the breath is awful when they get near you. Okay. Right. Let's pop a mint, let's floss, let's do the things that need to happen. And let's uh let's get an internship. There you go. Smells what? Smells what? Smells matter. Smells matter. That's right. Especially on this sofa. Any sofa. There's not a sofa, there's not a sofa in the world where a smell doesn't matter. Smells matter.

I've got some classic interview questions. Let's classic, cuz I like classic.

Well, let's classic. Is great. You smell fantastic. You look terrific. Let's get into these questions right. If you are answering these questions, biggest strength?

Whose biggest strength? Your biggest strength.

My biggest strength. I mean if it were you now. I think my biggest strength is knowing that smells matter. And I'm not trying to be glib. No. I really do. I think that's a good strength to know.

That's great. We went back there. Full circle.

No, no. We didn't go anywhere. We were still there. We didn't leave. We kept the foot in it. We dragged it with us. Biggest weakness.

Biggest weakness. Um boy, there's so many to choose from but if I had to go with one biggest weakness. It would have to be maybe caring too much. That's not a weakness. Could be a strength. That's a strength. Could be both. Could be a weakness. That's a strength.

Sometimes sometimes it can feel like a weakness.
