I'm just happy that my, my thing says Young Hollywood. Are you happy about that?

Recently, at the Oscars, Seth MacFarlane and Daniel Radcliffe. Better dancing with them or Scarlett Johansson in this movie?

Scarlett. Easily.

Of course. That was quick.

Yeah, but Joseph was good, wasn't he?

See, I'm telling you.

Well, you're good. I mean, the dance with Scarlett and and the other lovely ladies in the film, it was very sexy dance.

Hey, thanks.

How did you, how did you sort of like, you know?

Oh, it's very sophisticated choreography. We rehearsed, you know, we got a studio space.

So what's your each of your signature move?

I'm a tap dancer. I've been a tap dancer for a lot of years, so.

And what about you? What's is this now you're going to be your new thing, the the club moves?

I don't think I don't know if I have a signature move. I'm never like, you know, taken any dance classes or anything. I just I just like to dance.

You just feel the good vibrations?

Maybe.

Well, speaking of good vibrations, you are in the film. You're caught out singing Good Vibrations next to you. But didn't this come from sort of like a real life experience since you wrote directly?

I get caught singing in the car all the time.

You do? What's the song that you're most likely to rock out to in your car?

Oh, it could be anything, you know, whether it's, you know, the Sex Pistols or Sam Cooke or, you know, John Legend or, I don't know, anything.

Okay, so in the film you're obsessed with porn, your character, not you. Scarlett's character is obsessed with romantic comedies. Which do you think is the more far-fetched premise?

That's a really good question. I I think both pornography and romantic Hollywood movies offer equally unrealistic portrayals of what love and sex really is.

So, how did you guys sort of get in shape, eat fresh, do all that? How did you sort of prepare?

I just worked out for two hours every day for about six months and ate a lot of chicken for

A lot of protein? What about you?

I'm in shape. I stay in shape.

He's naturally this way. He's a prize fighter. He's tough Tony.

I used to be a fighter so I'm always afraid of the other guys in the gym, so I got to get ready.

So, a bit of a kinky question. What is better? Bad sex or good porn?

Geez, what's better?

I'm going to let you answer this Tony.

Well, I'll be. I I guess you got to be honest. something bad and something good, I don't know. I don't know. It's too how about this, it's too close to call. There you go.

Well, why don't we change the subject and ask you about all the fantastic cameos you had in this film. You had Anne Hathaway, Channing Tatum. Leonardo DiCaprio made an appearance in the Titanic poster on Scarlett's wall, which I know you had to get permission for, didn't you?

I did. I got Leo and Kate's permission. They were really good to let us do that. Anne and and Channing, their characters are sort of playing the lead in that cheesy romantic. We had a blast. We, well, Annie and and Channing are both really good friends of mine. And uh, we've known each other for a long time. We we've done a couple movies a piece together and uh we just spent half a day making fun of romantic comedies and laughing our asses off.

Is there one that you actually like, though? Is there a romantic comedy you like?

Oh, there's lots of romantic comedies.

What are some of your favorites?

Annie Hall. I you know, if I do say so myself, 500 Days of Summer is a great romantic comedy. Hal Ashby made amazing romantic comedies, like Harold and Maude or Shampoo, movies like that.

This is your first time directing. Such a phenomenal job. In all sincerity, it was a wonderful movie. How did the idea for the film come about in your writing of it?

Well, I I wanted to tell a story about what I think is always getting in the way of love. Porn. And uh, well, it's it's how people objectify each other. And porn is one example of that, you know. Scarlett's character watching too many romantic Hollywood movies is another example of that. The way that that Tony's character, my dad, reacts to Scarlett is another example of that. He's not looking at her as a person. He's looking at her as as a piece of meat, you know, he's as an object. And uh I think that, you know, and men do it to women and women do it to men.

You rank women out of ten in this film.

Yeah, they, yeah, the the the buddies in the movie are all about the scale of one to ten. Oh, she's a she's a seven, she's a

She's a dime. I love that. She's a dime.

But, you know, and that's that's terrible. You can't rank somebody on a scale of one to ten. You have to be comfortable with each other, you have to connect with each other, you know. And it's not just about what you like.

The pornography might be better.

You're right. Exactly.

Keep it clean. Objectifying yourselves, favorite body part, ten out of ten.

Craziest question I've ever heard. My eyebrows.

Yeah, yeah, my eyebrows. You've got some good eyebrows there, I got to say.
