Welcome to YoungHollywood. com. Hey, everyone, it's Michelle Marie with Young Hollywood. We're here at the SLS Hotel in Los Angeles to celebrate the Primetime Emmy Awards here at the GBK gifting lounge. How do you feel about this weekend?

I feel hot.

You look it.

Thank you. Thank you. I'm really excited. I know. Yeah. So, I mean it's pretty insane that your show got so huge in such a short amount of time. What do you think it is about Modern Family that makes our viewers always tune in every week?

I hope it's because it's great writing and great TV and great characters that they're relating to and it's uh it's kind of a throwback to the old sitcoms but it sort of has an interesting twist to it and it's very modern and fresh and I don't know, I'm really proud of it.

This is the first time you're going to attend the Emmys or have you been before?

Never been. Never been. I'm a newbie, I'm a virgin.

Never? Okay, so we want to know day of what are you going to do to prepare? Do you have any essentials that you must have in your life that day before you get out there on the red carpet because it is it is a big day for you.

Apparently, I probably should wear some sunscreen. This is going to surprise you but I'm not really good in the sun. I guess that's my essential. Some SPF 70.

Thank you. Um I'm obsessed with lace at the moment and I like the dark jeans and tall shoes, so That's about it. That's about it. Yeah.

Well, congratulations on this success. You've had so much success over the years and you've continued to stay in the business. So all your fans want to know what's going on right now with Jennifer Love.

I'm off to um do a movie with Betty White. Oh my gosh. Which I'm so excited about. I don't think I've ever done anything I'm as excited about than to spoon with Betty White for five weeks. I can't wait.

Ever since the SNL episode, she has just I mean younger generations, older generations, everyone just has to love Betty White.

I know. And I grew up watching Golden Girls, so I'm just really excited to hear her say Saint Olaf. I just want her to say Saint Olaf over and over again and I'll be happy.

What's up, Michelle? What's up? I like your chains. I'm wearing a necklace. That's all I want to say about this gifting lounge.

I watch every single episode, but there was the one part where, you know, you and your son got into a very intense emotional scene. And it made everyone I talked to cry.

One of the great things about the work that I've um been able to do on the show is that it really is a reflection of Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith. They're these young guys who their emotional life is so available to them. And so when you're in scenes with them because they're so present, because they're so real, I myself just have to react to them as any human being with any compassion would and then that's able to come out. And so I think that the writing is so strong when the writing is really really strong, it can create very powerful drama. And so I've been lucky for that.

You're always a nominee.

Well, not always, but just luckily this year, I was on Modern Family, which is a good show to be on, so they they chose it. Yeah. I got a nomination for that.

I know you did. So, it's outstanding guest actor in a comedy series.

Yes.

Who did you have a lot of fun working with on that show?

Well, Ty Burrell, who I worked with on Kelsey Grammar's series a couple of years ago, Ty is wonderful. And Ed O'Neill, who I I've known, he's just a sweet guy. Just everyone was so much fun. The little kids were fun to work with, they're like 40-year-olds.

I know they are.

Yeah, and Eric Stonestreet. I love little Rico Rodriguez, he's one of my favorites.
