Yeah, no, he just said ages ago, "All I want for my birthday is for you to sing and do a little set and here we are."

What is your favorite '80s memory?

For me, it was headlining Madison Square Garden.

How many times have you done that?

Counting the one last Christmas, zero.

What's going on in your world?

What are you doing these days, Deborah?

I'm working on new uh new pop music.

I wrote a musical with Jimmy Van Patton.

A bunch of different things.

You young people don't remember the '80s.

You don't remember MTV where they used to play a lot of music.

And this man here, for changing that.

I ain't got a rap sheet but I got a sheep.

Young MC is singing at my birthday.

What isn't awesome about that?

How do you think it's different performing now as it was performing back in the '80s?

Well, I mean there's a lot less support for the artists now than there was back then.

I was lucky to have a big record back then 'cause people still think fondly of it.

So it's cool.

We need to see if you're really bald.

The hair is coming off.

I'm bald really, but this was my freaking cover-up, RJ.
