Matthew McConaughey, Snoop Dogg, & More Reveal Crazy Set Moments

What's going on guys? It's Nicole Kotch for Young Hollywood, hanging out at the Beach Bum premiere in LA. Let's talk to the cast and see who has the craziest story. Hi, Matthew, how are you?

All right. Good.

The last time we saw you was at South by on the hammocks. Do you remember this? On the hammocks? Yeah, outside the Four Seasons. Yeah. That was years ago. Channing called you exceptional.

Thanks, Channing. Got some things I'll say about you here shortly too. Uh, There's obviously an all-star cast, including yourself. So, I want to know, what was the craziest thing that happened to you on set?

Probably Snoop switching out my oregano for his and getting me really, really

You call that getting Snooped, right?

I call it getting Snooped, yeah.

I think that, um, Matthew McConaughey sucking my toes was quite surreal. Uh, it just it was started as a like an improvised moment, but kind of ended up with like my whole hoof in his mouth. Um, I don't know whether he regretted that, but he did it.

Hey, is new for you? What are you doing? Young Hollywood? Yeah, do you remember us? Yeah, come on now. Quit playing.

I just wanted to test you, you know.

That's right. You know I'm down with y'all. I love it.

Well, congratulations on the film. All-star cast, including yourself. So, I want to know, what was the craziest thing that happened to you on set?

Man, it was so much stuff happening on set. I think every day was crazy, just because I was out of my element being on a set with some real actors, being in Miami and not being a rapper and not being in control of everything, but just having to play my role and play my position. That was wild and crazy because I'm usually the one that's in control, but to be able to play in my position and be told what to do felt good.

The craziest thing that happened on set was, uh, we were in I was in a hot tub scene with, uh, let's just say extras and Snoop and Matthew and me, uh, coming up with an escape plan for the Beach Bum. And, uh, you know, what happens behind the scenes in movies is like, and the takes and you're watching what's going on and the thing that got me going through it for a number of takes was was the grip that had to refill, uh, Snoop's bowl of Froot Loops. And they had like a 55-pound bag of Froot Loops, and he was eating them as we were going. And, uh, I went, it's the show business, so let's just go with the flow here in the hot tub full of Froot Loops, you know.

Had a crazy stuff, you know, just everywhere, every day. I'd look over at Matthew character Moon Dog and he'd be like eating lobster, crashing into a McLaren, passing out. It was good.

Would you consider yourself a beach bum?

No, I'm not a beach bum.

No? So, you had fun with this character though?

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He's he's all bliss. All rhyme, no reason. I like that. All music, no arithmetic.

I'm a long beach bum, you know what I'm saying?
