"Little Miss Sunshine" Meets "Twilight"

Welcome to younghollywood. com. Hey Young Hollywood, it's Michelle Hama. I'm here in the actual truck that was used on the set of Twilight. We're going to talk to some of the young celebrities that are out supporting the do something. org event. You are very giving and you you work with an organization called donate your dress.

It's incredible. It's I mean the reason I'm here tonight. I think it's it's very important that we get teenagers and young people involved, um now, so they see what an impact that it makes, um on our community and on our world.

I'm here with Abigail and we're in front of the Twilight truck and it looks like you were a big fan.

Yes, I am. I'm a very big fan of Twilight. I've seen it like a lot.

to meet Ashley Green.

Ashley Green. Yeah.

The first time you've met her.

Yes, and I'm so excited and my cousin is going to flip out cuz she loves Twilight too, so.

What do you love to do in your spare time?

I like to read a lot. Um, I like I like music. Um, I actually give my cousin Jen songs of the day. And so every day I like text her a song of the day.

We've got Corbin Lun. He's going to go over the meaning behind this red truck behind us. Rob Pattinson did save Kristen Stewart in front of this truck. So, we have an actual person who bought the truck. She drove it here from Texas. So funny. Is that fun? This is and it's the real. This is the real truck. She bought it. And she's just a big fan of the show, I'm guessing or the movie.

Yeah, I guess she was on Twilight, like fan sites and they found out, they'd like did research. She's here. She's like right over there. I got to meet her. You have to meet her.

We're here tonight for a really cool event, dosomething. org and I know that in the past Young Hollywood has interviewed you for Read Across America. What drew you to this?

Just, you know, to do a good thing, you know. And it was great reading to all these kids in these different classes and see their faces how excited they got.

What do you love to do for charity work?

Um, well, you know, to be honest, I'm real, uh, active in the Fragile X Foundation because my older brother has Fragile X, so I'm trying to be as active as I can right now.

Now, Secret Life has done amazingly well.

Yeah, no, I had no idea. I knew from the beginning that I was on something good, but I didn't know it was going to be this good, so I'm just so happy to be working and to be on a successful show.

Now, if you weren't an actor, where else is your passion lie? What else would you be doing?

Um, you know, I'd probably be in the family business, which is diamonds, which I did not want to be in. So, I worked for my dad for a little bit and that didn't work out too well, so, thank God, I'm not doing that. But I think if this didn't work out, I'd be doing that.

What has your progression been from like coming to Hollywood and getting involved in some comedy films and then some kind of fun action films.

It's been incredible. I'm trying and I've been been able to so far to kind of switch it up between comedy and and, you know, thriller and something that's a little bit more serious and it's just, you know, if I'm able to, I'd love to continue on that path just to not get stuck in one genre.

What was it like working with Ben Stiller?

It was the most fun role to ever play. And Ben, he's such a good comedian, and it was pretty hard to keep a straight face with him all the time.
