"Animal Practice" Cast Goes to the Dogs

I'm Oliver here with Young Hollywood, with Little Miss Georgie and we're about to interview the cast of Animal Practice, NBC's new comedy here at the Pution Press event.

Georgie's getting some treats. She loves it.

Uh, yeah, but not me. And certainly not you.

How old are you?

Wow. That's that's real chest hair. That's real chest hair. That's not Hollywood. No make-up artist put that in.

In the show you you have just taken, you're the ex-boy ex-girlfriend.

Yes.

And you then inherit the practice.

I inherit the animal hospital. And I have the incredible task of taking over this very disorganized animal hospital and and bringing some order to it and also reconnecting with an old flame.

Yes.

And meeting some new misfits.

And how is that?

Um it it was a rocky start, but now things are starting to settle in and I think that you see that there's a lot of love and respect there.

The show looks hilarious.

It's fun. Um it's the best group of actors I've worked with because they're

I think it's pretty good. Yeah, I mean, I like that it's funny but I also like that we kind of oddly enough I'm kind of servicing the show in a very different way this time around. I'm not I'm not totally the uh the boob of the show. We have Bobby Lee and and Betsy Sodaro uh covering that. They do that. They do that definitely, yeah. That's what they cover. I guess I Yeah, yeah, I think so. So I think it would be a little redundant if I was doing the same thing. But I get to kind of stretch my uh dramatic chops a little, which has been pretty fun.

Wanita. Wanita. Got a little bit a little bit of a ring to it, isn't it? Wanita. Wanita. What's up girl? What's up? Oh, that's just how Wanita does it. Isn't it? Yeah. What up girl? What up girl? What up girl? That was my Wanita impression. Obviously terrible.

So here we are in the massage room at the club in Beverly Hills with Kelly and Britney and they're about to give Georgie a facial to make her ready for her close-up. Let's hope it works.

Is Georgie the most beautiful dog you've ever seen?

She is. I love her. Look at that.

It's good to be Georgie.

Well, that's it. Georgie now looks a couple of years younger. We're going to go out and see if we can get her lucky for the night.

What's the craziest animal that's been on set so far?

Um I had a boa constrictor on my head.

You did around your neck.

Yeah, yeah, around my neck.

Was that real?

Yeah.

See, I didn't know that. I was watching it up.

Yeah, it was 100% real. And can I say something?

Yes, you can.

The boa constrictor exudes a defense mechanism out of its skin. It's an ass excrement. Right? Basically shits on my face.

What animal would you like to see on the show?

Well, we had a bear uh recently. We had a pot belly pig that I woke up in bed next to.

Was that on the show?

On the show. On the show. Yeah. No, this is not This is not on the show that I'm pitching later.

Okay. What animal would you like to see on the show? Any animal in the world. What animal?

Meercat. I've never seen a meercat Yeah, in real life.

That's a great choice. I'd love a meercat.

A Tasmanian devil. Is that been Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Georgie is about to get seen by a psychic. Got to be honest, I'm a little bit scared about Georgie's future. We're going to soon find out. Fingers crossed.

How old is she now? Because she's three.

She's three. She thinks she's about six.

Right. They don't have time. So they don't quantify things in the way that we do. Do people ask questions like how long is she going to live? I don't want to ask it.

They do ask. They do ask. They do ask that.

Oh. Yeah. Should we ask it?

Um, I don't know if that's a I mean, it doesn't Look, she doesn't even want to know. So she doesn't want to know. She's exiting. You're like, Dad, why would you ask such a horrible question? Why are you trying to kill me?

She wants her close-up. Look at that. This is Georgie's moment. That's right. Superstar. Um, and uh, fame? Is fame in the future for Georgie? Is she going to appear in any movies? Because there's been a lot of requests.

I was going to say she very well could be and as we can see, she has an affinity for the camera. I have no idea where she gets that from.

I'm asking everyone, how is it working with that monkey? Not Bobby, Crystal.

Crystal. No, I'm the other monkey. Tinier monkey. Yes. Um, she's amazing. You have to come visit. She

I want to come. I would love to meet Crystal.

She's incredibly unique and special and um, I'm totally enamored by her. Crystal is uh, she's a great, great actress. Surprisingly. Yeah, yeah, and she um, she's a little diva.

Right.

I went out with her once. We did we did a little bit of, you know what I mean?

Did you?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. She was climbing trees. Blackout. We blacked out. She was climbing about 15 trees that night. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Chris has been um a star for a while, you know, this is not her first rodeo. She's movies, you know. Movies, she's a movie star. We might have hooked up. I don't know.

Yeah, yeah. Eventually maybe the show could sort of do with more Crystal and less of me and I can I can I can pursue other hobbies.

I think everyone's scared of a job. It has got my stuff a job. It has got my stuff a job right there.
