You have an amazing fan base that absolutely love you and we have fan questions galore. So the first one is from Taylor. He wants to know, do you think there's any hope for Supergirl and Lena's relationship? They were they had the the bar set against them at the outset being a Super and a Luther. It was always going to be a lot to overcome and they did that. For Lena, when her trust that was so hard to win from a, you know, for a Super, that when that was taken away, I don't know how you rebuild that bridge because of the so much history between the two families. It was already tenuous and they, like I said, had overcome so much. So Joey wants to know.
What are your thoughts on the direction your character is going? And also, how does it feel to have the most badass suit in the entire Arrowverse? I I love I love where the character is going. In him taking the mask off and saying, yes, I'm Guardian. That that was powerful. That helped us bring um racism into the cultural context of bullying where it belongs, right? So like if you make fun of somebody's weight, you're a bully. You make fun of somebody's sexuality, you're a bully. If you make fun of somebody's color or gender, that's status quo. That doesn't work. That's not that's not how it should be. It's 2018, right? As far as the costume goes, it is badass. It's badass.
Part of it's 3D printed. Oh my god. Like the black part is like scuba gear material. It's just it's super dope. Like you feel like you feel strong. You feel strong in that thing. Have a question from Danny. She wants to know, is there a side of Alex you would love to explore? For her to really figure out, okay, where is my power? What is that that center? And how do I find that and be able to bring that into an authoritative, but not just that, but just a just a kickass position. They're our big battle this season is hope and fear. So it's like trying to figure out how she walks into that DEO and like even just the way she stands, the way that she talks. For me, I had to think about it.
I had to go like, okay, wait. Cuz now I'm Kyle playing Alex, but John's not here and I'm so used to David like being there and and taking care of so much. And then now it's like, okay, but now I'm I'm Alex stepping in kind of as a John going, whoa, wait a minute. Like, it's a big it's a big deal. It's a big step. So Kat wants to know. Brainiac 5 is staying in 2018. How will he adjust to the time at the DEO? And will we meet more AIs like him? Adjusting to the time is going to be a struggle. Uh, we saw a bit of that in season 3. There was a learning curve for him. For him, this is like caveman technology he's trying to work with.
Socially, like there's going to be a struggle there to just interact with people who aren't as smart as him. The guy knows everything, okay? He's a 12th-level intellect with what's going on in National City in the fourth season with the rising anti-alien sentiment. Brainiac is going to feel some of that about, you know, some people uh discriminating against him for the way he looks and the fact that he's an alien. There's something to be said about being from the future. He kind of knows how everything's going to play out, right? He's kind of like, don't worry, this all works out in the end. But a theme that we explore is there's a difference between knowing history and experiencing history.
