Young Hollywood

I want to know if you could do anything in a flash without actually being the flash, what would you do? Like a daily task.

Grant Gustin

Shoot my show in Vancouver but I'd get to go visit my family in Virginia, my brother in New York and have my life but get to see everybody that I don't get to see. That'd be nice.

Candice Patton

Go home.

Young Hollywood

Home, where's home?

Candice Patton

Home, like LA or Texas, but like literally be able to just go home from shooting whenever I want cuz we shoot in Vancouver. Three hours away from LA. I think like four five hours away from Texas and so sometimes you get a little homesick and so I wish I could just run home.

Guest

Laundry, cleaning the house. Yep. Um, like picking up my dog's poop. Like that kind of stuff. I wish I could just like get through that really, really fast. Second guest: Travel between LA and Vancouver. There's no, yeah. There's no question about that.

Grant Gustin

Working out. I wish it went by a lot faster than it does.

Young Hollywood

Yeah. What do you like to do to work out? Anything specific?

Grant Gustin

I do a lot of different workouts because I think for me it's about keeping it interesting and switching it up. Second guest: There are three things in the world that I do not enjoy doing, grocery shopping, cleaning the house and putting gas in the car.

Young Hollywood

You do it all on the same day just to like knock it out? Second guest: I try to get it all knocked out as much as I can. We live in such a fast age. We live in the digital age. We find things at the blink of an eye. I want to slow down a little bit.

Grant Gustin

I just left and came back.

Young Hollywood

How was that? Was that cool?

Grant Gustin

What? Yeah, busted out of here. Went to the bathroom, had a little grub, had a steak sandwich. Came back.

Young Hollywood

If you could get a tattoo to represent the show. Yeah. On yourself. Where would you get it and what would it be?

Grant Gustin

Yeah. Um I'm going to, it's been on my bucket list for a while actually. I'm I've I've got a Virginia tattoo right here. It's where I'm from. Um and I want to put like the emblem kind of underneath of it, like kind of a little further back. But I want it to be like a kind of a sketch, a pencil sketch of like the Flash emblem.

Candice Patton

I would get maybe a typewriter for Iris. Maybe like on a wrist.

Young Hollywood

I like that. Yeah. It's such a cute answer.

Guest

I'd probably get the emblem that's on my suit, which was supposed to be a secret, but it's like all over the internet now cuz the paparazzi got us. Um yeah, so I'd probably get the emblem. It's really, really, really cool.

Young Hollywood

Where would you put it?

Guest

Uh, oh, um I don't know, some like hipster cool place like right, you know, here, like on the back of my arm or like on the side or like under my rib, you know, where the cool kids go.

Young Hollywood

Yeah. That's super cute.

Carlos Valdes

Yeah. I probably would get the mental activity dampener. Okay. And I would put it someplace that you'd have to know me real well to see. Ooh. I've actually been sort of clutching at straws to come up with what a good illustration that can can represent that can represent vibe is, you know. Cuz there any like massively talented tattoo artists out there in the world? Please send me ideas.

Hartley Sawyer

I would get Tom Cavanagh's face on my forehead.

Young Hollywood

Really?

Hartley Sawyer

Absolutely. I might do it anyway.

Tom Cavanagh

I would put a tattoo of my name and then my character, Reverse Flash and I would tattoo it to Grant Gustin's forehead.

Young Hollywood

Okay. We're because Hartley said he wanted your face on his forehead.

Tom Cavanagh

I know and the funny thing is he keeps trying to do that and the producers are like, dude, it's not gonna play on camera cuz it doesn't make logical sense of the show. But I tell you as soon as this series gets cancelled, I can tell you Hartley Sawyer's gonna run out and get my face my face on his face.

Young Hollywood

Time travel is clearly obviously ended kind of badly on the show. Knowing what you know about it, would you personally still time travel and if so, where would you go?

Grant Gustin

I mean we were just talking about like if it'd be cool to see like my parents when they were my age, which is just like a theme we're exploring on the show this year with Nora. I would do what Nora's doing. Like I would love to go back and see what my parents were like. Yeah. You know, when they're like, oh, I didn't smoke pot and like, did you though? You know, like go back in time, catch them smoking and Yeah. That'd be really fun, I think. Right?

Candice Patton

The 1700s when women, you know, painted their faces white and wore those ridiculous white wigs and had the corsets and everything. I think there's something I've just seen so many movies and I've been on a show that was set in that time period, but I just think that the color and the food and I just would have been unbelievable. It was such a strange time where it was so important to be conservative, but it was also really like sexually liberated. So I just think it would be a bizarre, really fun time to go to. Second guest: I would go to the past and I would find this guy named Derrick. He's an ex-boyfriend. I would go back to my past self and tell her do not talk to him at that cafe on Melrose.

Young Hollywood

I bet Derrick is shaking his boots right now with what you got going on, girl. Second guest: He should be. He should be. He shouldn't even friend me on Facebook.

Grant Gustin

I'm gonna come back to this Young Hollywood interview and do it a lot better than I just did it.

Tom Cavanagh

That's a tremendous question, isn't it? He likes all of my questions, guys. your questions are you're killing it with your questions.

Young Hollywood

Where would you go? Ooh, you're not prepared for that. You know what? As the host no one really asks me questions.

Tom Cavanagh

I know but look, I'm the nonstop asking you questions. I feel you're gonna have as Young Hollywood, you're gonna have a better like whatever you're like desire to go and do thing cuz I might be like, I'm gonna go home to my couch and watch the Knicks. Okay. You're like, boring. Whereas you might have something much better than that.

Young Hollywood

No, I actually love staying at home. You can time travel. You're just gonna time travel home. That's a terrible thing. I love hanging out at home. It's very cozy. Very good. Hanging out at home watching the Flash. Boom. Then then.

Tom Cavanagh

I like how you did that little segway and the plug. Very good segway plug.
