Welcome to Young Hollywood. com.
Hey Young Hollywood, it's Michelle Marie here with Shane Sparks. We are backstage at America's Best Dance Crew. We saw you last season, you took us around backstage.
Yo, what's up? This is Shane Sparks with Young Hollywood. I'm about to take y'all backstage of America's Best Dance Crew. How do you feel that season two has come about so far?
What's good about this season is everybody's really good. So there's no one that stands out. Right now, we don't know who. It could be Fanny Pack, it could be Super Crew, it could be I don't know about it. I guess.
There's a little bit of opinion coming through. Well, you know what I love is that each crew has different styles and I feel like each one is going to bring a different thing to the stage, especially this week with Missy. I'm hoping that everybody take what Missy normally does. She does stuff that you've never seen before and she's very creative because it's okay to come out and do some of her stuff but take it and flip it and make it yours. And I know what it's like to be locked in a room with the other guys and to have to grind on a routine over and over and over. Who do you think has improved the most? I think Super Crew started off as strictly Boyz and gymnasts but they've showed us choreography. I think that Fanny Pack has actually showed us athleticism with the girls doing like front flips and busters. And I think that SoReal Crew, I love them to death but for the first five shows, everything was a glide and a slide and they laid off of it and then and they decided to start doing, you know, tight choreography and I've really enjoyed that. I think every group here deserves to be here because they've made strides to better themselves.
What's up guys? We are here at Dodger Stadium with Super Crew from America's Best Dance Crew. Now, last night you guys did an amazing, amazing performance. How do you feel about it?
It was such a relief to go out there and feel the crowd and just pull it off and feel 100% satisfied about it. We talked to JC before the show and JC was like so pumped about Missy Elliott. The fact that she made a comment and she said that our performance outdid her music video meant a lot to us.
Y'all made my video look wack. No.
It's one of the best experiences of our lives. We had a standing ovation to the judges after our performance and they said that's never been done in Dance Crew history.
What did you guys do to actually prepare for your routine?
Missy uses so many special effects and visuals in her videos and her performances. Always thinking out of the box.
Right.
And that's what Fanny Pack tries to do. We felt great about last night. We're just excited, you know, every week to perform for that crowd. It was amazing just having Missy of hip hop, dancing icon, you know, judging what you have. Oh man. We're in the top three. Thank you to the judges. Thank you to the fans.
