What's going on, guys? Hanging with me right now. I have Jenna Ortega. What's up, girl?

Jenna Ortega

Hey, guys. Nothing much. How are you?

Young Hollywood

I'm good. How are you?

Jenna Ortega

I'm good.

Young Hollywood

It's been a minute. We wanna get some set secrets from you. So we have some fun little questions we made up. Um, just about the cast, things on set.

Jenna Ortega

Okay.

Young Hollywood

And they should be fun and easy. All right, first one. Do any of your castmates have weird habits?

Jenna Ortega

I don't know about weird habits, but James Scully, who plays Forty.

Young Hollywood

Mhm.

Jenna Ortega

I'm super obsessive about brushing my teeth, and so is he, but he's even more obsessive about it to the point where he carries the little travel bag with him everywhere. So you go to his set chair and there's just a toothbrush just sitting there in a bag.

Young Hollywood

So do you brush every time you eat? Are you one of those?

Jenna Ortega

Yeah, I yeah, if I can. I mean, sometimes when I'm out, I can't, obviously. Right. Yeah, if I can.

Young Hollywood

Well, that explains why your teeth are so beautiful. They're so white.

Jenna Ortega

Thank you.

Young Hollywood

You're welcome. Okay, next one. Tell us a story about a time you couldn't stop laughing on set.

Jenna Ortega

Probably when I went through the memes with Penn. One of the Because we were just We I said, what is this? Because it was so random and it just didn't make sense at all. Um, oh, and then also, there's a part in two-oh-eight where, let's just say, James, Forty, leaves the room in a different way, and Penn and I were not ready for the way he did it. And we had to stop shooting for a while. They actually cut because me and Penn couldn't get it together to continue the scene because we were laughing too much. They were like, "This is serious, guys. Like, this just happened." And we couldn't we couldn't. Was it like those times in class where you just like just start laughing and you just you can't stop. So they have to like cry or just walk out. And then you have the first AD shouting at you like, "Penn!" Like the teacher like, "Come on now. Like, Penn, Jenna, come on. Get it together." And we're like, "We're sorry, guys. We just need a moment."

Young Hollywood

You guys sound like a fun duo. Next one. What's the craziest thing that happened on set?

Jenna Ortega

I feel like I may have missed a lot of the stuff because the greatest thing about my shooting experience is I would shoot for two days, and then I wouldn't see everybody for two weeks cuz they would shoot the rest of the episodes. So they always got all my work done really quick because we also shoot at the same locations. Like, I was always at the apartment building. So, for as much as we had the apartment building, I'll just shoot it all out. Uh, anything crazy? I wouldn't say that there was anything special. All I could say is we were shooting what was supposed to be sunny Los Angeles, but we were shooting it during the winter time, so it was freezing. Yeah. So the scenes where we're supposed to be like sun tanning, and I'm freezing, and it cut, there's like three jackets and a blanket put on top of me, and I'm wearing boots. And then I take it all off and I'm in a swimsuit and shorts. You know.

Young Hollywood

Well, that's nice that they cover you up like that.

Jenna Ortega

Yeah. They're great. They're people are great.

Young Hollywood

Okay, this is a fun one. Any ghost stories that happened during filming? We love ghosts here at Young Hollywood. So we love to ask.

Jenna Ortega

I do, too.

Young Hollywood

You do?

Jenna Ortega

Yeah, I do. I mean, sometimes like we we pretend like for younger kids on set, like, oh, there's a ghost. But then I was the young kid on the set. Right. Nobody tried to do anything, like, mess with my emotions like that. But the thing about stages, too, though, they're just weird. Yeah. Like, you're walking by, and then one of the wooden planks that they use for like the camera operators will just fall. See, that's a weird thing. Yeah. What just happened. Also, they're very drafty, very cold.

Young Hollywood

Mhm.

Jenna Ortega

Just saying, I don't know. Things like that, random things moving.

Young Hollywood

That makes sense. Okay, last one. If you could have anyone guest star on the show, who would it be? Besides Frank Ocean, cuz we've established that you love him. So someone else.

Jenna Ortega

Um, if somebody could, I think it would be really funny if John Mayer did come on. I do. John Mayer, I love him. I just want to see him and Penn together. Because I see it and then they have the reference, you know, in one of the episodes, like one of the first of the second season, you know, talking about it. Uh, so I would love to see him and Penn in the same room together, I think. I feel like they'd be besties, like, in real life, like, really

Young Hollywood

Yeah.

Jenna Ortega

They probably will. Penn just gets along with everybody. It's just Penn.

Young Hollywood

Oh, Penn. One day I'll meet him. I help. I understand. You've really like sold him to me right now. I

Jenna Ortega

He's easy to sell. Yeah. I mean, they they go on Twitter. They'll do it for you.

Young Hollywood

That is very true, very true. Well, Jenna, on that note, thank you so much for coming by. Congratulations on the show and everything else. Please come back soon. We'd love to have you.

Jenna Ortega

Thank you so much.
