Welcome to Younghollywood. com. Hey guys, it's Michelle Marie here on the set of ABC Family's Greek. We're gonna hang out with some of the frat guys. Let's go.
So tell us what's going on today? What are you guys filming? What scene?
We are shooting a Dobbler scene, which is the local bar here at CRU. You have come in to challenge me to a night golf tournament, which will um determine who gets to party in your house. That's what's that's what's on the table. If if we win, we get to take your eight-bedroom beach house right. Uh in Myrtle Beach, and if you win, you get to party in the Mega Kai fraternity, probably trashing it and peeing and defecating all over.
My, what a half-assed costume you have. I better ask you to dance with. Really? You know there's too many Cinderellas out there. We should shake things up.
We we visited the set last year, but we were with all the girls. So this time we have all the boys. How do you research how to be that ultimate frat boy?
They send us around the country going to colleges for different charity events and stuff and we get to hang out with real fraternities and sororities and that's a lot of fun. So, I feel like we try to be as accurate as we can and like touch on all the things that you know, like there was one time where I was I was um at UT in Austin, Texas and someone mentioned Panhellenic and I was like, that's real.
Hello, Clary. Oh my God! Oh! Oh my gosh. I'm so These are for you. Thank you.
Are you a prankster? Who's like the worst one?
I'm a prankee it seems. I'm the one who always gets pranked. This guy and and Paul James were always, you know messing with stuff. Actually, you had a good idea, you had a good idea. We we have a quiet room for reading between scene between scenes and Jacob wanted to to to joke around and get a a fake grenade and just just open the door and toss it in when people are reading.
More like, yeah. No, it's more like a crazy idea.
What was the most embarrassing moment that you guys had on the set?
We were shooting a scene where uh he has to take a shot of tequila and uh anybody familiar with the show would probably remember the scene where he takes a shot of tequila and then you know, it's why it's called Spitter cuz he can't handle his tequila, so he spits it out. And you know, and uh in the rehearsal for shooting that, we were like, all right, rehearsal, don't spit, you know, here we go. Action. Jacob was must have been getting into it, listening to his iPod or something. Yeah. all over Jake's face on the rehearsal. And they're like, make up. Yeah. Bring in make up.
About 50 hair dryers.
50 all over my face.
I'm here with Aaron Hill, aka the Beaver. So, how'd you get the name the Beaver? Tell me about that.
Uh you know, I think uh season one when he explained the back story, it's not as naughty as you'd like to think. I think uh I chewed on a table leg when I was really drunk one night, so that's uh I am affectionately known as the Beaver from there on out.
You're like that guy, aren't you?
I am exactly that guy. Yes.
Tell us about today's scene and what we're what's going on right now?
Uh well, this is a little little late in the season. Um there's uh there's some rivalry between the Kappa Taus and the Omega Kais, and this is sort of uh the culmination of it leading up to the finale.
Tell us about what's going on this season? What is going on?
Um, well, my character is the in the closet gay character of Omega Kai. I was too concerned about what other people think. But I'm more concerned about losing you. You can't have it both ways. I know. That's why I was wondering if you would like to dance.
Playing a gay character must be like somewhat challenging for you.
Yes, playing a gay character is very challenging. Um, you know, it it it definitely takes a sense of um having to know uh your audience and having to know um what the character's all about, but trying to be as true to it cuz obviously I'm playing a character that I'm not very familiar with. Um So, uh it it's very challenging. It's very challenging.
So you have to kinda do your homework and, right?
Everybody always asks, how'd you do your homework? No, I don't go to West Hollywood or Chelsea and and and go to bars and and start picking up guys. But, right, right.
How do you feel about the girls on the set? How's the chemistry with them?
Well, if I played a straight character on the show, honestly, the one that I would probably get along with the most, um, would be Amber. I think Amber and Grant, or Ashley and Grant, they have a good they have a good chemistry. They're good friends.
Have you ever had a prank
Yes. done to you? Fred Savage was directing uh a couple episodes ago. Before we shot, he called the action, he said, "Greg, don't forget your lines." And then for like 20 minutes, I could not remember my lines. And I got to you. Fred Savage was like, "Say the line!" I'm like, "I can't remember the lines." He got in my head, he got my head.
Shout out to all my fans. I'm Scott Michael Foster. I play Cappy on Greek. We're about to shoot some stuff here on the set. Can you shout out to my fans?
Shout out to Jake McDorman's fans. I don't think you have any. Just kidding. There you go. Thanks for watching.
