Bachelorette Hannah Brown Gives Dating Advice at DWTS Rehearsal

About this video
Hannah Brown first stole our hearts on Season 23 of "The Bachelor", and continued to charm us on Season 15 of "The Bachelorette", and now she's taking us for a spin on the dance floor in Season 28 of "Dancing With The Stars"! Young Hollywood heads to her rehearsal space where we sit down with her to reflect on her whirlwind year and all the happy (and perhaps not-so happy) happenstances that led her to where she is today. As we make our way into the dance studio, we pick her brain for advice about some common dating dilemmas, like falling for a friend or being ghosted. Then Hannah switches on to "Hannah Beast" Mode as we catch up with her pro partner Alan Bersten, who sings Hannah's praises and teaches us some moves!

Hey guys, Young Hollywood is hanging out with the Bachelorette, the Dancing With The Stars star, Miss Hannah Brown. Hello, my friends. Hello. The sign above you says Dancing With The Stars. Your latest endeavor.
I know. It's been really fun.
Let's talk about it. Life from here to there. Who would have thunk?
Not me. Not at all. I am It's so funny, we'll be like in practice for the show and they'll be like, "Alright, celebs get on the stage" and I will literally just be hanging out. I'm like, "Oh, okay. You're talking about me." Cool. Um, so it's just been really surreal, but God, I'm so thankful.
Obviously, your popularity has skyrocketed. What do you want to say to your fans and the people out there that maybe kind of maybe want to be in your shoes?
Oh my God. Um, well, I'm just really thankful for all the support that I've had through each endeavor that I've had this this year. And um, I don't know. I think for me, I just said yes to opportunities that came to me. I never dreamed that this would be the way that I would be here. And I think it's not like planning. I think um, so many of the wonderful things in life that I've had were unplanned. And um, you know, I thought my plans were great, but this has been better. And I think that's something that I would really tell people that, you know, obviously, the way that I got here is very different and unconventional and I wouldn't suggest just going on The Bachelor so you can be on Dancing With The Stars, but that was never my intentions either. And what I wanted, I didn't get. That was the plan. You know, like the plan was to get married, have this successful relationship and that's not what I got, but what I got was something so much better for me right now. I feel like. And I think that's something that no matter where you are in life, what you're doing, that can be very relatable that sometimes when our plans don't go our way, we have to look think positively about, well, there's a reason they didn't and it might be better for you right now. Um,
Oh, they're calling for you, because you're the celeb.
Maybe. Yeah. I don't know. We'll see. Um.
So what kind of advice would you pass on to people in the dating world? You've kind of been through it all lately. Any advice like, "Hey, I want to date this guy." Or "will he call me back?" Any advice?
Don't date multiple people at a time. I'm just saying, especially if you're taking it very seriously, uh your heart gets, you know, people get pieces of your heart. And um, I think that's that's really hard. And you have to be whole first to try to find another whole person so that you can balance each other out when somebody's down. It's I haven't got it exactly right yet, so I'm still working.
Well, you know what you have right going. And you you've kind of found a really good dance partner in Alan. He's great. He's here now. Yeah. And we're gonna go crash your rehearsal. I'm wearing what you're wearing to kind of get a little sweat on. Okay. Let's walk. Let's go. Let's do it. Yeah. Okay. Okay, while we go see your dance partner, I want to do a little questionnaire with you about, you know, when people really want to find their partner in life. So what do you do when scenarios, right? So what do you do when you take a screenshot of a conversation with your crush, right? And then you accidentally send it to him?
Oh, that's totally happened to me.
Wait, stop. Yeah. Tell me the story.
You just have to um, so I dated this guy for a long time and saw that he had a new girlfriend and I saw it on Instagram, I mean on Instagram, screenshot it and was trying to send it to my best friend. And I was like, "Did you get it?" And she was like, "No." And I went to look at it and I was like, "Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh." She's like, "What are you going to do?" I'm like, "I'm just going to be like, well, this is awkward." And that's what I text back. I was like, "Well, this is awkward." I don't think he replied back.
Well, we know the outcome because you're single.
I'm single and he's still with that girl. But I'm actually he's a great person. Great. All meant to be.
What do you do when you have feelings for a friend and you're afraid to ruin the friendship?
Um, I think you have to figure out what's the most important thing in your life right now. Do you need more of a friend or are you really seeking that relationship? But you can tell when you're friends and you're flirty friends. Oh, yeah. And that's where you just start to like figure it out, maybe.
Okay, last one, as we see the light in the dance studio. What do you do when you get ghosted by someone you really like?
Um, well, I guess you just have to move on. I mean, what else are you going to do? You can't go begging. Oh, no. No.
You know who we can beg for though? Hey. That guy right over there.
Oh my God, you're so weird. Okay, I think we need to go join the man of the hour right now. Yes.
How are you? Nice to see you again. Nice to see you again. So tell me everything there is to know about her dancing ability that we haven't seen already.
We're gonna see a new side of her this week. Oh. A fierce, angry side. Oh. She's known as Hannah Beast.
Hannah Beast.
Yeah. The Beast is getting unleashed this week.
So what do you see in her that we don't get to see?
The hard work. You know, she's the hard, the most hard-working partner I've ever seen. And I'm very lucky to have her. You know, she'll stay as long as she needs to get the routine down. Right. So it's a really good trait to have.
Well, that's why I'm here to get the routine down.
Yes. Yes, I want to know what she knows. I want to know what you know.
Well, we just started learning. Oh. What do we got? Tuck your butt on Tuck your butt in. Hold your core. Core. You're going to step across. You're going to step to the side and replace the weight. Oh shoot, I messed up. It's okay. You got to have fun. Step. Step, replace. Nice. And then again. Oh, sorry. Step. Step, replace. Again. Step. Step, replace. Step. Step, replace. Look at that part.
Are you ready for Trio Week? Who wants Trio? Yes. Can I be your partner?
Why not? Listen. Let's break this up.
No. Thanks.
Yeah. Is that it? Well, let's add like a One more. Let's do. You're gonna go down. So you're gonna hit and cross and slowly come up. Make a beautiful shape. Beautiful. Up on the toes. Look at that.
Yeah, they always try to say that I danced and I did when I was younger. Right. But not ballroom. Not ballroom. She am on a breath, like no. Yeah. And I don't know all these arms and legs and how you're supposed to tuck everything. So everything that I do on that stage, I worked very hard for.
So do we put that together? The thing and the thing? Yeah. So watch, we're gonna go like this. We're gonna go. Uh one, two, three, four, five, six, seven. Again. One, three, four, five. Down. Down. Throw up. Nice. This is really good.
Yeah. Yeah, you're pretty good.
Yes, you too.
Hey, are you going to switch out your partner? Because
No, no. Trio Week.
