Right now these two don't need any introduction.

Now, this is the annual Young Hollywood Awards and it's the first standing ovation that's ever been here.

What's that like?

Well, I had no idea.

If I knew that I would have milked it a little longer.

You should have.

We're telling you now it was your chance.

I didn't know that.

First time there's ever been a standing ovation.

Really?

Wow.

Well, let's say they had a role model before me.

Maybe they just thought they had to give me a standing ovation to get a role model award.

Well, what is a what is a role model to you?

What do you think a role model really is?

Well, it all depends what you uh I guess what you want to believe in.

I know, I it's just a lovely, lovely honor and it was particularly nice and by Ava being here to present it to me because talk about role models.

This is somebody who conducts herself in so professionally and so many areas.

But I think it just has to do with the balance in your life, uh between career and some sense of how fortunate you are and trying to give something back to your your community, your immediate community and a larger world and we're both fortunate people with, you know, Desperate Housewives being around the world in my career and people know you all over the world that you can help situations out, make things a little better.

Sure, you learned a ton of stuff from Michael, but anything that really sticks out all the time you've been been spending.

What he just said, the balance of family and work, you know, he's really, really does a good job at that, and I just hope to emulate that my love life and my family.
