Get ready to roll off some serious Hollywood heel flips at this board sport benefit, where every celebrity in town showed up to support skate parks nationwide and the man that made it all possible. Benicia del Toro, what brings you out here today?

So, what brings you guys out here today?

Um, we're coming out here to support uh, Tony Hawk.

Actually, I just came down to get a sandwich. My son is a huge skateboarder. So, we're here to support Tony. His foundation does great work. Which is a real weird coincidence because then I come out here to get a sandwich and he just happens to be here.

I'm here with the man everyone's been waiting for, Tony Hawk. Can you tell us what's going on with the event tonight?

Uh, well, it's our Stand Up For Skate Park event. It benefits the Tony Hawk Foundation. We support public skate parks in in underprivileged areas. So we've got David Spade performing, Blink-182 playing, and we're going to do a big skate demo right here on our ramp.

Is there anyone else you're looking forward to seeing today?

I hear David Spade is here. He's an extreme uh, guy. And Blink-182, for absolute sure. Because they rock.

Anyone else besides Blink-182 that you're looking forward to seeing today?

David Spade, right? Supposed to be here.

Hey, how are you, David?

All right. A little fried out from the weekend.

You're going to ride here? Is that what I heard?

No, you're gonna ride. I was going to perform. I was going to do some standup. We're gonna mix it up, whatever helps the most.

So, are you a skateboarder, David?

No, I'm kind of a skateboarder but uh

You're telling me David Ramsey has in his backyard? I got it. He gave me a cool board and it's keeping me alive out there.

Are you guys into new extreme sports?

Yeah, yeah. We all grew up skateboarding and like surfing and you know, snowboarding.

So, are you a skateboarder?

Uh, a real bad one.

He's a skateboarder but he's an actor as well.

Actor. Yeah.

So, are you a skateboarder?

Oh, no, no, no. I'm a golfer. I don't want to do anything that could possibly damage my golfing career.

I'm not an extreme sport girl, but I like to stay on the sidelines and watch, that's for sure. I like watching it.

So, are you a skateboarder as well?

Yeah. And uh, skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing for the last 17 years of my life. Yeah.

I've been skating since 1977. I've been skating my whole life. Of course and we used to skateboard, the wheels were this big and some of the wood was that thick and as long as this carpet.

Any other extreme sports that you're into?

Uh, actually, I race motocross. I mean, I snowballed it a lot when I was in Pennsylvania.

So, are you guys in anything else besides skateboarding?

Water sports.

Strip clubs. And sometimes I get up on a pole and see how limber I am. Just kidding. Not great at it. You could talk to Pam about that if she comes to.

All right. The green hair right there. It's like a kid fell in the relish. How are you doing? That's not the relish for your sandwich. So, did you hurt yourself doing a little skateboarding?

Actually, I've broken this twice skateboarding, but this time, uh, I was just running and I I fell wrong.

Oh, it's another guy with green hair here. But you're the most conservative person here. You gotta do something with your hair, you know? That's cool. And the green hair. Are you guys know each other or? Yeah?

And the guys, they're all nuts. They're all nuts.

The culture with skating, I think is so positive now. When I was a kid, uh, the skate parks were in abundance and then we had really weird insurance laws in America and they tore them all down. Tony Hawk and others have made it I think a great, safe place for kids to shine.

Not only has he single-handedly sort of brought back skateboarding to what it is, opened the door for skateboarding to be what it is today, but now with the skate park foundation, giving kids an opportunity that don't necessarily have a chance.
