Sports Legends on Golf, Playmates, & Terrell Owens

Yeah, thanks. I've been honing it in this morning. I got my cigar working. Yeah. Couple drinks. It's it's smooth. You got to do it, right? We're on the Playboy Golf Tournament course. I mean, what other course would you want to be on? Come on.

No, there's nothing better. The girls have been great and the course is awesome. These days are perfect.

Well, how do you feel about the 2010 Olympics? Do you think that you're going to be competing?

I am thinking about it. We'll see. It's it's sort of it's long way away still, but I don't know, it's something I think about, but for now I'm just golfing.

When you really want to get the hole-in-one, like, what do you do to focus?

What makes it harder to focus out here is you have all these playmates out here and you're trying to hit a shot when you've got all this nice scenery around to look at. So it really makes it tough and really challenges your focus out on this golf course.

Just wanted to ask you your opinion on TO and about, you know, him leaving the Cowboys. How do you feel about that?

I think he's a great athlete and he'll do well wherever he goes. Uh, just hopefully he doesn't become a distraction to his football team. I just hope he finds the happiness and peace that he's looking for with whatever football team he goes to and he contributes to them like he has in the past.

Obviously, TO is not on the Cowboys anymore. How is it different with next season and what do you expect?

You know, I hate that first of all. Uh, wish he was still with us. He's a Hall of Famer, so I would love to play with him, but, you know, since he's gone, you know, I have to step my game up. You know, those are big shoes to fill and uh, hopefully I can do it. And they are big shoes to fill. But as long as we win ball games, I think that'll answer everything.

I'm here with Jake Long of the Miami Dolphins. First draft pick last year. What advice would you give to those this year that are potentially being drafted?

Just come out, work your hardest. You know, you're going to go through some adversity and get a lot of stuff thrown at you. But uh, just make sure you keep your head on straight, uh, get in get in the books, study your stuff and uh, just work as hard as you can.

Being on the course, especially today, who do you think is the best golfer so far? Have you found anyone that's the best?

Well, in my group, uh, I don't want to break my and pat myself on my back, but uh.

How serious is golf to you?

Uh, I love golf. I mean, you know, I don't take it that serious, but, you know, when I play, I play pretty serious. You know, as long as I can beat Marcus, that's pretty often.

Man, don't fall over because it's just like not even a serious day. Don't worry. I'm going to catch you. I receive it. So I'll catch you, don't don't worry.

Oh, so sweet. You're playing with tons of great guys. I mean, Marcus and Eric.

Yeah, for sure. Yeah. We we're having a great time. You know, those guys are really good and I play with them as teammates. And this is just a fun event, it's always.

How do you feel about the Dallas Cowboys now that TO is gone and left the team?

One player sometime doesn't really affect the team that much. You got to find the nucleus of a team. You have to find what gels because it takes, you know, 11 guys playing together to make a team. That's why you call it a team. If not, it's an individual sport.
