Ryan Sheckler on MTV's "Life of Ryan"

Welcome to Young Hollywood. Hey guys, I'm Tatiana Day at the Ryan Sheckler Celebrity Skins Classic. We may be rained in but spirits are not dampened. Let's go see who's inside. We have Ryan, the man behind this event.

Uh. I'm good. I'm ready. Bummer it's raining, but it's nothing I can do about it.

So what made you start this event? A lot of people came out to support you, so.

We started this event just to really get back to uh the kids, you know, we really wanted to help children with cancer and athletes that can't help themselves from being injured. So, uh, basically it just came along and my fans are so supportive that instantly they started donating money for us and, you know, now we're here, third year in a row at the golf tournament and uh it's great. Can't believe it.

It looks like your friends are pretty supportive too. We're pretty far out there and it's raining and people showed up for you.

It's great. You know, it just shows everyone's down for the cause, so that's good. You know, it's not about us, it's about who we're helping.

So we know you can skate, but can you golf?

I think my golf game was a little bit better last year. Uh, I was hurt and then this whole year I just been focusing on skating, so I actually haven't golfed all year, so we'll see. We'll see what happens today.

So if you could have an ultimate dream golf partner, who would it be? Besides me.

Maybe like Michael Jordan or something. That'd be tight to go golf with Michael Jordan for the day.

So we have Travis Pastrana, one of the ballsiest mofos out there. Do you like your intro?

That was awesome. Thanks. So, I like your uh, polo shirt you've got going on. You look like you're ready to play some golf. Unfortunately, it's raining.

I was ready to drive.

Uh-huh. I mean, you know, clubs too, but mostly the uh, you know, the golf cart. I thought it was just rain was going to make it a really good slick track. You know, I've been on this course before, it has some good sand jumps. I usually end up in the sand trap when I when I play, so unfortunately, I think this is going to put a little bit of a damper on on the conditions and uh the drinking may have to happen in the here instead of out there.

I think you would have won, I'm just saying.

We we would have won the fun award, maybe. No, we're definitely, we're not very good uh golfers but uh Nitro Circus is true, but uh, it'll be good. Either way, we get to hang out with all the crew and uh, you know, it's all for a good cause, so it'll be a fun day.

So, we know you can skate, you have the voice of an angel. But can you golf? I You look like you can.

I, well, I've prepared because last year I didn't have the right golf outfit and it really hindered my game like some running shorts and a t-shirt.

You were keeping it gangster?

I you know what, and and I'm gonna tell you where keeping it gangster doesn't work, that's the golf course. Not at all. So, this year I've got a golf shirt, I even have DC Golf shoes and I have white pants. What? So, if that doesn't make a great golfer, I don't know what does. So today and I feel like since it's raining, it'll level the playing field that I'll probably be able to do okay, you know.

So you're no stranger to charity. How'd you get involved with this with Ryan?

Obviously, Ryan's one of my really good friends and not only do I support everything he does with the foundation, but last year he even donated to my foundation so we could build a park outside of LA at Hollandbeck Park. So you know, anything that he does, I support no matter what it is and it's it's even if that's golfing in the rain.

So who's your dream golf partner? God. You can golf with anybody in the world. I mean, Tiger Woods.

Tiger Woods.

Besides. Besides this who's not golfing.

Um, my second choice would be Tiger Woods.
