Welcome to Young Hollywood.
Hey guys, Michelle Marie coming to you from the W Hotel here in Hollywood for ESPN the Magazine's SP Style Studio.
This season is gonna be brand new, a whole new life for you, so congratulations on the Broncos.
Thank you so much. I appreciate that.
Yeah, so how has it been with uh Josh McDaniels, working with him so far?
It's been great. Um so thankful for a coach like him, he does a great job and I am truly blessed to be able to play for him.
So what do you expect with your next season? What are we gonna see with Tim Tebow?
I'm just going to continue to try to get better every day and work hard and uh, you know, that's all I uh I can do. So that's all I can control and that's what I'm going to worry about.
Congratulations again on having the number one sales and with your jersey. I mean everyone's buying it. How do you feel about that?
Um, it's definitely an honor for people to to want to wear something that represents you. It definitely means a lot and so I'm very thankful for that. Uh, for all the people that are supporting me.
This is your first experience, but you get to see all the other sports. So what is maybe one of the other sports that you love and any one you're excited to see?
Oh, wow. Uh, big basketball fan, you know, play basketball growing up. I saw uh Mario Stoudemire last night and like, "Oh, it's like it must be nice." New deal. Uh, so any any of those any of those big time guys, you know, I think they're the real freaks of the world out there. Uh, you know, how athletic they are and how big they are and doing what they're doing so yeah for sure.
Yeah. Well, you're absolutely athletic and you were injured, so what can we hear about your injury and the recovery? How's it going?
Recovery is going really well. Uh tore my ACL. Uh doc says the ACL looks great, so I should be ready to go for week one and hopefully I'll you know, pick up where I left off.
You had a great season last season and, you know, you're amongst the top tight ends in the league. So what are you expecting with the Texans next year? What are you gonna do to lead the team?
I think, you know, we got a chance to be really good and Um I think if I can stay healthy and be able to help the team out for 16 games. Um hopefully that that's good things in store for us. So we're we're we're a game away from the playoffs last year, so hopefully I can, you know, being there after missing eight games, hopefully we can get that extra win to get there for sure.
Season's coming up.
Yes.
And this is gonna be a big year because Matt Leinart's taking the place of Kurt Warner. So how are you feeling about the change?
Um, you know, it's gonna be a good challenge for us, you know. He's He's sat down a few years, followed after a Hall of Fame quarterback. So I'm sure he's gonna do well. He's been working hard at it and he's he's the most focused than I've ever seen him. So I think when you put a guy with so much doubt on him, I think that he's willing to fight adversity and prove everybody wrong.
Right. And how are you feeling about the chemistry with Larry and Matt and you and everyone that's
We all We all like family, right? So one thing about it we're gonna find chemistry, you know, if it's not there off the break, we'll find it. You know, that's what training camp and OTAs and mini camps are for. So we're going to gel together and finish finish what we left off last year, you know, trying to win our third NFC West title.
Having some fun with a little Hennessy, I see?
Uh, just a little bit, you know what? Just a little bit. Got to You got to let loose. No, I can't go. Can't go too hard. Just a little bit.
How do you feel about the new Ochocinco Show on VH1?
Oh, I loved it! I loved it! I loved it! I was dying! I saw Bernard and I was like I tweeted him. I was like, "You're like Chewie." It was great! He was laughing though. I was like, "He might get mad." I I saw Bernard when we were taping. I said I said, "Why don't I get the memo?" I said, "This is an offensive I said, "This is all wide receivers." I need some linebackers, some running backs or somebody in there. It can't all be wide receivers." And they talked about wide receivers aren't divas. I mean. Child, please, huh? Child, please.
