About this video

It's a beautiful day for a ball game, as the L.A. Dodgers celebrate the Toyota Long Beach Grand Prix. Mario Andretti is in town to promote the race, and he lets us know the fastest he has ever gone in a car and how he feels after a race. Andre Ethier tells us his pre-game routine, Don Mattingly gives us some predictions for the season, and Tommy Lasorda shares his favorite moment as a Dodger. We even get some time with "America's Got Talent" winner, Michael Grimm, before he sings the National Anthem. Hosted by Lesley Robins.

Welcome to Young Hollywood.

Young Hollywood

What's up guys?

Young Hollywood

Leslie Robbins here for Young Hollywood coming to you from Dodger Stadium where we're mixing it up a bit with a little baseball and race car driving.

Young Hollywood

We got Andre Ethier here.

Young Hollywood

Tell me what you're bringing to the season.

Andre Ethier

What I'm bringing to the season?

Andre Ethier

What are you bringing?

Andre Ethier

I'm bringing a little bit of attitude and uh hopefully a lot of energy and uh of course a lot of fun to come out and watch.

Young Hollywood

So besides BP, what do you do before a game to get things going?

Andre Ethier

Um I usually go sneak inside in the back room and uh hook up my iPad and uh watch a little bit of the tutors.

Young Hollywood

So we're here with the man in charge of the Dodgers.

Young Hollywood

Now, what are you going to bring to the team this season?

Guest

What am I going to bring?

Guest

What our players are going to bring, really.

Guest

We're just trying to bring an attitude that guys play hard and give you their best every night.

Guest

So when, you know, people come to the games and they see us play, they want to see a team that's playing hard every day.

Young Hollywood

When you uh think of your boys, uh what what comes to mind?

Guest

Uh, I just look, kids.

Guest

You know, a bunch of little kids, really.

Guest

That's what they are.

Guest

You know, I don't care how old they are.

Guest

They're still playing a game and they know it and really we just asked them to again, get back to to give us your best effort every night.

Guest

Have a lot of fun but uh, you know, people come to see a win, uh, and they want to see your best effort every night.

Young Hollywood

Tommy Lasorda, give me your number one Dodger moment.

Tommy Lasorda

My number one was the moment that I managed the Dodgers my first time.

Tommy Lasorda

Uh that was uh in 1977.

Tommy Lasorda

That was the great moment for me and I did it for 20 years.

Young Hollywood

What do we got in store for Dodger season this year?

Tommy Lasorda

Well, we think we got a good ball club.

Tommy Lasorda

If they play up to their capabilities, we got a good chance of winning.

Young Hollywood

Do you ever uh put back your uniform on?

Tommy Lasorda

Yeah, oh yeah, I wore it at spring training.

Tommy Lasorda

Yeah.

Tommy Lasorda

Oh yeah.

Tommy Lasorda

It feels good to put it back on.

Young Hollywood

We're here with the man, the legend.

Young Hollywood

Mario Andretti.

Young Hollywood

Now, welcome to LA.

Young Hollywood

The city with the worst traffic in in the entire country.

Young Hollywood

How do you even drive in traffic?

Mario Andretti

Oh, we managed.

Mario Andretti

We came up with this.

Mario Andretti

You know, up ten, no problem.

Mario Andretti

Everybody getting out of our way.

Mario Andretti

From Long Beach to Dodger Stadium here.

Mario Andretti

We're having a ball.

Young Hollywood

Did you bring this automobile on the freeway?

Mario Andretti

Yeah, that's what I said.

Mario Andretti

Yeah, we came all the way.

Young Hollywood

So now you guys are here for the Toyota Grand Prix in Long Beach.

Young Hollywood

What's the actual fastest you've ever gone?

Mario Andretti

Oh, myself, well over 250 actually on a closed track, so.

Mario Andretti

Yeah, when you're done with a race, what give me a word to describe that feeling?

Mario Andretti

Then you're looking for a beer.

Young Hollywood

Winner, America's Got Talent.

Young Hollywood

Now you're here at Dodger Stadium.

Young Hollywood

What's the ride been like? Second guest: It's been uh very wild. Second guest: Wonderful, wonderful ride. Second guest: So, excited to be here. Second guest: Singing the national anthem at the Dodger Dodger Stadium. Second guest: That's uh say I can't even talk. Second guest: It's a little big for me, so. Second guest: I know Andre Ethier got me tongue tied before.

Young Hollywood

It's it's kind of surreal, right? Second guest: Oh yes, you know how it goes, yeah.

Young Hollywood

So you're from Mississippi.

Young Hollywood

Now you're here in LA.

Young Hollywood

Big difference.

Young Hollywood

Tell me uh tell me some of the biggest differences between uh Mississippi and out here in California. Second guest: Well, the big difference between most of the world and California is this is the place where dreams are created and sent out into the world.

Young Hollywood

And your dream came true.

Young Hollywood

Tell me what that whole experience was like. Second guest: Yeah, my dream did come true right here in Hollywood. Second guest: And uh yeah, and uh it's been like a dream. Second guest: All the way through. Second guest: It's an out of body experience. Second guest: Anything you can think of that doesn't feel like you're right there. Second guest: That's where I'm at, you know. Second guest: Even right now. Second guest: I'm not here. Second guest: Somewhere else I think.

Young Hollywood

You're funny.

Young Hollywood

Are you going to do stand-up as well as singing?
