Hey, and Hollywood, I'm Michelle Humbel.

Young Hollywood

We are here at Lucky Strike, where celebs and athletes are coming out to support the Matt Liner Foundation in Bowl for a good cause.

Young Hollywood

I'm here with Matt, the man of the hour.

Young Hollywood

So you've been so successful with this foundation.

Young Hollywood

What do you think the key is to to run a successful foundation?

Matt Leinart

I mean, having good people and having having goals.

Matt Leinart

It makes it easier because we all want to do it.

Matt Leinart

It's it's comes from within side and it's not about we just try to raise all this money.

Matt Leinart

I said it's all about raising money for a cause and that's what we're trying to do.

Matt Leinart

You have the biggest part and what's the most joyful thing when you get to partake an event?

Matt Leinart

It makes kids days, it makes their life.

Matt Leinart

It's like dreams come true and it makes me so happy and it feels so good that I can make an impact in kids' lives, you know, whether it's through football league or whether it's best buddies and bowling or taking kids to an Angel game who've never been like it's just little things like that.

Matt Leinart

You see the genuine happiness that comes from that that they would never get those opportunities before.

Matt Leinart

So that's what makes it so happy and that's what makes us want to keep doing it.

Young Hollywood

So you've been able to enjoy your summer?

Matt Leinart

Yeah, it's been nice.

Matt Leinart

I'm getting ready to go back in a couple weeks to start football, which I can't wait to get out there and and wait for the opportunity to play.

Matt Leinart

So I'm excited.

Young Hollywood

It all starts though in the off season, it starts in training camp to build up and and prepare.

Young Hollywood

What's the hardest thing about training camp?

Matt Leinart

Oh, just the days are so long, you know, 7:00 in the morning to 10:00 at night every day.

Matt Leinart

So it's it's it's not bad, you know, it's it's work.

Matt Leinart

It's what what needs to be done, but the hours are just it's like a routine.

Matt Leinart

It's the same thing every day.

Matt Leinart

So.

Young Hollywood

So is it hard to get out of bed in the morning knowing that you have that you're going to get your your butt kick?

Matt Leinart

It's fun because it's football.

Matt Leinart

It's what I love.

Matt Leinart

So you it's not it's not that bad.

Young Hollywood

What do you like to do to enjoy your summer when you're out in the off season?

Matt Leinart

Yeah, enjoy it.

Matt Leinart

Uh, more working out, more football.

Young Hollywood

Working out?

Young Hollywood

Like, what do you do?

Young Hollywood

What is your favorite training?

Matt Leinart

Oh, man, we run sand dunes.

Matt Leinart

We we run hills.

Matt Leinart

We're lifting, working, working out with all the wide receivers and all the other quarterbacks out at API.

Matt Leinart

We do a lot of stuff, different stuff, try to change it up.
