Uh, I mean, it's just showing that I'm a part of it. I I need one. That's why I will get. Yeah, basically. I'm just looking at. Um, yeah, this whole night is about spreading a message. It's uh showing that there's a lot of artists uh who think it's important enough to cancel their schedule and figure out a way to be here tonight to support the cause. And you know, talk to their audience and talk through their platforms and reach people and tell them that it's important to essentially not just look out for yourself, but also for others. And, you know, sometimes other people need your help. And if you are lucky in a position where you can help others, you should consider doing that.

So you put this together in like 72 hours, was this?

It was very quick. I mean, big thanks to my team who actually made it happen. I had the idea and I reached out to the artist, but the people who really worked.

Who's the first artist, who's the first artist you reached out to?

I think it was Skrillex first, who was one of the most supportive artists in my life.

He was the one who brought me out on tour first. Uh, I came to America to tour with him. Really? He was the first one to force me to use the microphone and talk to an audience because I was really scared of talking and my English wasn't very good.

Right, right, right.

He's like, you're here with me. Like, I brought you out here. You're going to talk to your fans. You're going to talk to your audience. And, um, since he's one always been one of the most supportive people I've known, um, he was the first one I asked.

As a DJ, I feel like you like to work and collaborate and work with people and and welcome people. Totally. Yeah. Um, of all the songs that you've made, what's probably one of the most welcoming collaborations that you've probably put together?

That's a good question. Honestly, the way I collaborate often sometimes happens through just reaching out to people directly on Twitter. I would say that I'm a fan, like Khalid is an artist. I recently found out that we grew up like 30 minutes away from each other in Germany or spend a lot of time there. And, um, I told them I like his music and three days later, we made a song together. Um, so a lot of these things happen very organically, and I like things to happen like that. And I think I myself collaborated with a lot of artists who aren't American and

Right.

it doesn't matter who you are, as long as you have a great voice, I will be more than happy to work with you.

Yeah, I mean, dude, the whole entire world is involved in the music industry and somebody like you keeps that going, keeps that.

And I love it. It it keeps me going, honestly. Like, I I love to collaborate and work with other people. I love to find places, music that could not have gotten myself without reaching out to somebody and, you know, collaborating and getting into a new platform that you would never reach yourself.

So the Alessia Cara song is one of the freshest songs, dude. I love.

Hey is awesome. How did you how did you welcome Alessia Cara into that song? How did you welcome you into that with her vocals?

The first time we met was at an award show where we uh were asked to perform together. It was like a three or four songs of mine with different singers. And, um, I realized how incredible she is and how talented she is. So I asked her and said I'm working on a song, it's called Stay, would you be interested in working on it with me together? And she was in LA the next week. So we got in the studio and started working on it, probably like half a year ago or something. And over the course of this last four, five months, um, we were working on finishing the song and finally released it recently.

The uh, there's like this like the digital part, you do at the core at the drop. The vocoder. The vocoder. The vocoder is so I don't know if you guys know what vocoders are back in in Young Hollywood world, but that vocoder you put on that is so like I'm just getting a little techy with him right now.

Oh, I love that.

It it is so like compressed and like just solid.

Yeah. Some people thought that it was autotune because people don't necessarily know the difference. Autotune is when a singer isn't necessarily perfect and then makes you a little cleaner and and better on pitch. That's intentional. It is when you put a vocal through machine and it sounds like a robot.

Right. So that's an effect. For anyone who thinks that was autotune, it wasn't. It's it just makes it sound it's kind of like Daft Punk.

Yeah, Daft Punk is really pioneer of of vocoders.

Okay. Um, of tonight, you welcomed all all everybody, all all the artists. Do you have any family members that you've welcomed out tonight or tonight or any close friends that just going to be here with you?

My brother is here and honestly, a lot of these artists are really good friends of mine and I'm really thankful to have people support us in this case and, you know, fly out. One artist, uh, his wife was pregnant, I think, expecting a child today, and he's still here and flew out to make this. That's awesome. So, big thanks to everybody involved. It's a really big deal.
