here at Young Hollywood.
here at Young Hollywood and we are taking you behind the scenes of K-Rock's infamous Weenie Roast.
I'm Danny.
I'm Scott.
I'm Chad.
Trevor.
Are you behaving yourselves on the road?
Pretty much, pretty much. Actually, we just invented a new game with Manchester Orchestra. That's a horrible game.
Are we mature? Come on now. Let's be serious here.
What size dress are you?
here with Young Hollywood. We are in the gifting lounge of KROQ's Weenie Roast. What this is.
Dr. Drew, I am so excited to meet you.
So sweet of you.
I tweet you on the regular.
Yes, thank you for that.
I watch all of your programs.
Thank you, I appreciate it.
Is this is how many Weenie Roasts now? What number is this?
Whatever number this is is the number I've been to.
Wow.
I've been doing I've been doing on K-Rock for 30 years.
You're like Ryan Seacrest. Except there's less tabloid pictures of you jogging.
Thank you. That's good. I I would prefer that. I to keep it that way.
Hello. My name is Michael Catherwood. No, is that what you want?
Yes. Okay. That's my name. What else am I supposed to put?
You have like a cool nickname for the radio.
They call me Psycho Mike. That's stupid.
Should we give you a new nickname today?
Go ahead. I was thinking about like just The Outlaw.
Where's your favorite place to tour?
Um Irvine, California.
I like your answer.
I can drive home afterwards. So.
So you you live relatively close?
I live in Long Beach. Yeah. So.
And are you going to rage this evening or is this all work for you?
What's uh what's your definition definition of raging?
You know, hanging from the chandeliers or the weenie roasters, I suppose.
Naturally, I'll be doing that. Yeah.
Are you excited to see anyone um tonight at the Weenie Roast?
The Strokes. I know. I'm so excited to see The Strokes. Um and also the secret band that that I know who's playing.
Does it start with an F and end with a Fighter?
Okay, so it's the Foo Fighters.
Are you behaving yourselves on the road?
Pretty much, pretty much. Actually, we just invented a new game with Manchester Orchestra. That's a horrible game.
What is the game?
I don't think I could even say that. It's got a mix between baseball and kickball. It's awesome. Yeah.
Are you excited to be here?
Yeah, I'm just here to see some friends.
You're not Oh, well, we it's going to be after the fact. You can see.
Okay, yeah, we're the secret band.
You are so awesome. And what's your favorite part of being at the Weenie Roast?
It's the first place I ever saw a concert.
Really?
1982. I'm aging myself here. Um 1982, Queen and Billy Squier.
Holy crap, that's Queen.
before you were born, baby. Oh, snap.
A little dress action. What size dress are you?
I'm not sure, but I'm going to go try out one. I like to thank you.
Are you going to shout out Young Hollywood on Twitter?
You want me to say it on Twitter?
On Twitter?
On Twitter. I'll do it right now.
Do it right now. I like it. Okay. Done.
This is, in fact, my first Weenie Roast.
Are you excited about it?
Yeah, it's going to be awesome. We're uh we're pretty stoked. We just got to go up and soundcheck. Everything sounds amazing. Last time I uh was here at Verizon Amphitheater, I watched Iron Maiden.
Wow.
So now playing on the same stage is going to be pretty cool.
That is epic. And others aside from Iron Maiden, have you guys had any other instances like that where you're playing on the same stage as your idol?
I played in a place called Circus Cologne, Sir Cologne. Uh the Beatles played on the same stage. There's even pictures of them, so I got to be on the same side of the stage as one of my base idols, Paul McCartney.
We played in the uh Majestic Theater, which was Houdini's last performance ever before he died.
Do you guys do practical jokes?
Are you mature?
Are we mature? Come on now. Let's be serious here.
I'm hanging out with Striker, who's in his awesome vintage tee looking like a rock star himself. I love you and YoungHollywood. com went from like here to like there now. Are we dating, Striker? I mean, sir.
Fine. Let's let's let the cat out of the bag. We're dating. We're sleeping together. We take the doozies. I take her to Friday's and we have chicken wings.
Hey, it's Josh and Jeremy from A Day to Remember. Watch Young Hollywood.
