Hey y'all, I'm Kirby Kristen with Young Hollywood. Tonight we're on the red carpet for the 2016 American Country Countdown Awards, where we're talking to country's biggest stars. Kelsie, good to see you. How's it going?

On at the Country Countdown Awards, we're asking everybody what they're counting down to, like in life.

I I go home tomorrow. I'm counting down to go home. Oh, that's great. I have a couple days off to kind of chill, so hang out with my dog.

The countdown awards, what are you counting down to right now?

Oh my gosh, um, going home to see my baby girl. My best days are still ahead of me. You haven't seen the best Terry Cruz performance yet. The countdown is for when is that amazing superstar performance happening? There's at least ten more bonafide beautiful superstar performances coming. But I just don't know what they are yet.

I love it. We go down uh go on tour with Darius Rucker. It's the Good For A Good Time tour. So it's gonna be great. That's I'm counting down to that day. Definitely, for sure. Darius is a good guy and we're super thankful to go out on that tour and we get to play new music.

My wife's about to graduate from uh grad school. I'm really excited for her in that. And I'm about to crank up my uh headlining tour uh this fall. So I'm really excited about that.

Awesome. Lots of great things.

Yeah, absolutely. The momentum is now. In real time, you know, every day I wake up, that's that's one more day that the CD wasn't finished, you know, that the album was not completed. And so as fast as we can, every chance I get, I'm writing. We jump into the studio. Hey, let's let's click out a few lines of this song. Let's do a few of this song. And, um, we got to get it out as fast as possible. That's the end goal.

We're going out with Dan and Shay and Darius Rucker for the Good For A Good Time tour. Oh. Wow. Yeah, so I'm counting down to that for sure.

I'm counting down to uh till I get to eat food after I walk off stage after presenting. What is that gonna be? I don't whatever they have in here. Watchen Brooks & Dunn tonight. That that'd be great. I my my ritual before I go on stage, listen to Brooks & Dunn song before I go on. That's our last piece of music we listen to and uh so that'll be really fun.

I think I'm counting down to just heavily touring this summer. I'm so excited. We're opening for so many amazing people. I mean, like Tim McGraw, Kip Moore. Um we're just like constantly on the road. I got to open for Cam recently, which is awesome. Um there's so many awesome females in country music right now. Wow. Yeah, so I'm just counting down for a great busy summer.

What am I counting down to? Probably eating in and out after this, to be totally honest.

What song are you listening to currently, like on repeat on Spotify?

Um, Youth by Troye Sivan. I've replayed on my Spotify.

Oh, I like the Seven Years. You know, I'm gonna go hip-hop. I got to go with Panda by Designer. I can't stop playing the damn song. I can't stop.

There's uh this song by this artist named Miguel, and it's called Coffee. I love that song. Yeah. It's legit. It's the truth. Totally legit. Absolutely.

The new uh Cadillac 3 song. It's called Drunk Like You. It's a great song.

I picked up that new Drake album as soon as it dropped.

No, really?

Keith Urban, Wasted Time. I'm obsessed with that song. Like, I love it so much.

Probably Nick Jonas, Close. I mean, that's a pretty good one.

Well, but I grew up like listening to like 70s rock and 50s rock and roll and blues and stuff like that. So it goes all over the map for me, you know what I mean? It depends on what day of the week it is.

Dangerous Woman, Ariana Grande. It just makes you feel like I'm dangerous. Even if I'm not, I am, you know? Like, it's so vibey. I love it.

There's so much great country music out right now, but I would have to say, um, Sierra by Maddie & Tae and Peter Pan by Kelsea Ballerini.

It is a burgundy suit. I've never I've never had a burgundy suit. I wanted to try something different, um, for tonight. So I just went for it. I had to add the uh the Jimmy Choo camo shoes to go with it.

If you could switch places with another country music star, just for a day. Who?

I would be Sam Hunt for a day.

Four, two or five. Keith Urban. He's got the coolest hair and he's got a great accent. I mean, you just can't, you know, can't beat that.

What's the deal? I've always wondered this is when when he talks, you hear the accent, but when he sings, you don't hear it.

It's because he's Keith Urban and it's magic.

Who would you trade places with? Probably Sam Hunt, you know, he gets all the ladies. He's a good looking guy and he's killing it. No, no. Sam's awesome. He's a good buddy of ours, so I mean he's on fire right now. Yeah, we actually we actually tied him up in the dressing room because we didn't want him coming out here showing us up. So he's back there. We'll go we'll go let him out after this.

Oh, that's really nice of you. Yeah. Who would it be?

Great question. Thank you. Who has the hottest wife? I would say George Jones. All right. The possum. I would I would swap with him. I just feel like he he knows how to have a good time and and he always lives through it.

I would say Chesney. Kenny Chesney. For sure. He just seems like he's got it going on. You know what I mean? Like, vacation when on your island. Right. Got it going on. stadium.

I mean, I'm a huge fan of Garth Brooks and he's on top of the world. So it would probably be pretty cool to be in his shoes for one day.

I would think so. I would think so.

Probably Cam, so I could have her hair. You know, that'd be great.

Is her hair amazing?

Yeah, it is pretty cool. And she's got the yellow thing down. Like every how do you find out with that many clothes with yellow in it?

Reba. Reba, for sure. Hands down.

I was trying to give you some time like with like saying it slowly. You just like, boom.

Yeah, no, Reba. She's just like the most happiest person in the entire world and what I love about her is that she's just a businesswoman. I would love to get in her brain and just be as smart as she is. I hope I have a career like hers.

I would love to sing like Martina for even half a second. I think that that's probably who I trade places with, the queen herself. Or Reba. They're the two divas in my mind. You can't go wrong. I have a guitar named Reba, so, mm-hmm.
