No, your eyes are not playing tricks on you. I have no makeup on. Yes, I've done it in front of the cameras. I am standing in front of Blushingtin. It is a makeup and beauty lounge where I have enlisted from Bravo's The Rachel Zoe Project, Joey Maalouf, who's going to make me beautiful, I hope, and show me how to do it in the future. So, how lucky am I that Joey is now doing my makeup? And teaching me everything I need to know. Tell me your top five of don'ts in makeup.

Um, don't apply eyeshadow after mascara. Don't overdraw your eyebrows. Always moisturize your lips. Don't wear too much eye eyeshadow. Don't over tweeze your eyebrows.

Now, being Rachel Zoe's makeup artist, does she know how to do this herself or she just says, "Joey, I need you."

Um, you know, she is actually very makeup friendly. She's great at doing her own makeup. Um, it's her hair she has the most um trouble with.

Now, I have to ask you about the red lip because I would be scared to touch red lipstick, red gloss. Get me a red lip now. Oh. Joey, thank you for doing my makeup. I feel so pretty.

Oh, good, you look very pretty.

So, tell me how you started in makeup. I think you were 15, I read.

I was 15 years old. I started um working serving coffee at a makeup shop in my town in Detroit and I just became so obsessed with it. I brought my friend in from high school and I did her makeup and I was like, oh my god, I'm so obsessed.

So Rachel Zoe, you met her in that fashion world. Tell me about how you guys met.

I yeah, I met her like six months into me moving to New York. I I got introduced to her um I believe by an ex-agent or something like that. I went to her hotel room in New York and I did her makeup and her hair stylist didn't show up and I miraculously molded her hair with a bottle of lotion and my fingers and we were in love ever since.

You can't wear um high heels leaving the hospital, honey. The drag queen is going to be a little.

Joey. You can't wear eight inch the thigh highs.

Oh, I don't think my heels will affect my he he. Speaking of the show, is there anything you can share about the season finale with Leslie?

You see us all unite at Rachel and Roger's house and Rachel cooks something that is so delicious that we all basically attack each other because it's it's that good, like we all want it.

Well, speaking of food, we were talking about food earlier. What are some of your favorite dishes that you like to eat? Did Rachel possibly make that for you?

Um, you know what's really funny is um hanging out with Rachel and Roger. I'm like really obsessed with like, I think, I don't know if this is horrible of me to say, but like Jew food. Like, I'm obsessed with like bagels. And I'm a Jew, it's all good. Let's discuss. Like, tuna salad, egg salad, chicken salad. I am all about all of it. Like, bagels, locks, cream cheese. I could literally sit and eat it all day long. It's so good.

In Detroit, you now have a salon up in Michigan with your brothers.

I do. Me and my three brothers own a salon amply named Maloof, which is our last name. Um, and it's so amazing. It's really fun for me to go back home. You know, we have like, it's basically like our home base and it's so fun. I couldn't, it's like a dream come true for all of us.

So what's next for you?

I would really love my own hair and makeup line and I don't know. I I'm a pain as you go kind of person, so you know, I would love to see what happens next.
