Hey guys, it is Audrey getting a taste of Korean culture at KCON in Downtown LA. We're also going backstage with one of the hottest K-Pop boy bands around, Astro. This is pretty hot too. I am backstage at the Staples Center with Astro. How cool is it that K-Pop is so big outside of Korea?
Yeah. I think it's a great honor that there's a lot of fans waiting for us to perform. We had performed in KCON last year as well. So, it's really exciting to see all the fans support us.
Of all the places you get to perform in the world, what's your favorite place to perform?
Maybe LA Staples Center, yeah.
Beauty products from Korea have taken the makeup world by storm, which is why I'm with Elaine from STEP Beauty. Hi.
Hi.
Look, this is Heaven. Lip-Liquid lipstick, lipstick Heaven. Oh my gosh. I'm so excited.
Oh, thank you. Thank you. We have 40 different shades of lipstick coming from STEP Beauty and we also have tinted lip balms and one of them is actually edible lipstick. Do you want to eat it?
If you have ever wanted to know the choreography to your favorite K-Pop dance routines, Ellen Min is your lady. She's the founder of KOR-EO. What is KOR-EO?
KOR-EO is a K-Pop dance production team based out of UCLA and it was founded in 2014. We mainly do YouTube covers and we also perform at events such as KCON and other like Korean festivals in LA.
What's it like seeing everybody here at KCON doing those moves together?
It's really nice to see how so many fans like K-Pop fans are all brought together at this event and seeing how passionate everyone is about K-Pop and dance.
You're going to teach me a little bit of that routine NCT's Cherry Bomb. Not the whole thing because I don't think my, I think my brain would actually explode.
Step right, left, right, left and they alternate that forever for like three whole eight counts and then they also move the shoulders. So, it goes left shoulder right, left, right.
I'm lost already. Wait, hold on. You didn't a step. You didn't a step. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Do I just stay in the middle or do I have to go?
Yeah. You just stay in the middle. Yeah. And then we'll extend behind you.
Where should I be looking? Should I be looking to you guys? Like what?
You can just look to the camera and then they have that like really confident face like, Oh. Yeah. Yeah. Like
So, super confident, right?
Yeah. Super, super confident and you can also add like hands like.
So, I can add hands? Oh my gosh.
Yeah. You can do whatever you want with the upper body and the arms.
Okay. All right. Super confident. Yep. All right. Okay. Ready? Five, six, seven, eight. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Do I keep going?
