Welcome to Younghollywood. com.

Young Hollywood

Hey, Young Hollywood, I'm Jill Wilderman.

Young Hollywood

We're here at Sir Richard Branson's Rock the Kasbah charity event where we're going to catch up with Sir Richard and Jewel, who's performing tonight.

Young Hollywood

It's safe, you pick the right color for tonight.

Jewel

Yes.

Young Hollywood

Yeah.

Jewel

We're the same color.

Young Hollywood

Why did you feel it was important to be a part of the event tonight?

Jewel

I actually got to meet Richard about 6 months ago.

Jewel

They asked me to be ambassador for Virgin Unite.

Jewel

I just said youth homelessness in DC, and they want to give back to every community they do business in.

Jewel

They have a hotel in Morocco, and they're trying to make them economically independent in the villages there.

Young Hollywood

And you're performing tonight. What can we expect to hear?

Jewel

Uh, I am singing.

Jewel

I haven't really thought about what I'll do yet, but I'll figure it out when I get up there.

Young Hollywood

Why is tonight's event so important?

Richard Branson

Tonight's important because my mother spent her life doing good works, and she loves Morocco.

Richard Branson

So she does a lot of work up in the Atlas Mountains.

Richard Branson

The wonderful race of people called the Berbers.

Richard Branson

They need education, they need to be taught how to get sustainable work and so on.

Richard Branson

So people who love my mother are honoring her to raise money for the Berbers.

Young Hollywood

What were you like as a child?

Young Hollywood

Were you adventurous?

Richard Branson

I never got a chance to ask my mom that.

Richard Branson

I'm not the right person to ask.

Richard Branson

There was a famous time when I was going to my grandmother's house, and 3 miles before I got there, she pushed me out and said, "You find your own way there."

Richard Branson

And I was only 6 years old.

Richard Branson

I got lost.

Richard Branson

Today she would have got arrested, but she very much tried to get us to stand on our own 2 feet.

Young Hollywood

We're here with John Amaechi.

Young Hollywood

Tell us about the themes tonight.

John Amaechi

Moroccan theme, yes.

John Amaechi

I I only wish that I could have come in Moroccan dress.

John Amaechi

It would be a lot cooler.

Young Hollywood

Can you belly dance by any chance?

John Amaechi

Uh, you know, given enough gin, I I maybe I could give that a go.

Young Hollywood

What do you think if you could predict what Richard Branson's next venture would be?

John Amaechi

This is going to be a tough one for him.

John Amaechi

I mean, we've already seen the venture to go to space.

John Amaechi

That seems all very set.

John Amaechi

So, where do you go after space?

John Amaechi

I time travel?

Young Hollywood

I'm Jill and you're watching Young Hollywood.
