Hey, what's up guys? We're hanging out in the Young Hollywood Studio with Annie and Haley LeBlanc.
How's it going?
It's going great. How about you?
I love your last name, by the way. LeBlanc. Sounds so fancy. You should come with like a French perfume, like.
Maybe we should. That's a good idea.
Doesn't that sound so good?
It does.
Who are you wearing? LeBlanc. Aren't you? So it all got started with your parents starting the vlog, right?
Pretty much. I was four. I just started doing gymnastics and so my mom started filming me to show my dad because he's deployed in the military. We started one for my brother because he was doing baseball and then as a joke, we made one for Haley.
Why as a joke?
Because she was like I was really young. She wasn't like in any sports or anything because it was just us because my dad I mean, he of course, he wanted to see her but like she wasn't really doing anything. She was like a little tiny baby. Oh yeah, you're only two. So we started putting we started showing my dad that and then people started watching it and it became like a family channel. We're like, why are people watching us? But then it just kind of grew from there and we just did it.
And your videos have like millions of views, so many comments. How do you deal with the mean comments? Do you read them or do you not read them?
To be honest, I don't I don't really read them. I mean, I don't if I read one, I don't care. I mean, I'll of course, I go through the Instagram comments and stuff and like go through them and And then reply or like. But like if I see a mean one, I literally just like scroll past it.
I noticed a lot in your comments a lot of people saying, oh, we wish you guys still did gymnastics. They're like obsessed with that.
Yeah, cuz I feel like that's definitely like why they started watching us. I feel like they saw us grow up. Half of people if they meet us, like a meet and greet, they're like, I started gymnastics because of you.
Yeah, exactly. It's like the sweetest thing. So I feel like they got really attached to both of us being gymnasts.
You quit. Yeah. When did you quit? Just cuz you got kind of busy with the other stuff.
We were going back and forth to LA like every week. And I was
You're busy.
I was level nine and because I was training that for so many hours it got really dangerous to like come back and like try to do new skills when I'm like losing like strength and stuff cuz I'm going back and forth. You'll burn out and I think I just I really I left loving gymnastics. I still love gymnastics. I love the feeling, I love my friends, I love my coaches. I love gymnastics as a sport. In the same way she still hangs out with the friends she was working on with gymnastics. But So I never left because like I just didn't like it anymore.
You're keeping everyone calm right now in the comment section.
I love gymnastics. Don't come at me. I love it. I love it, guys.
Well, now you're busy, you guys, with the new Nickelodeon show, with the cooking show, which is so awesome, by the way. Did I hear you said you had never cracked an egg before?
Oh my gosh. That sounds so weird.
Is this for real?
No, um I have cracked an egg before, but the first time I was with me, I cracked an egg before, but I'm not good at it so I always get like shells in it. So then I just like stopped. I was like, Haley, crack this egg for me because I can't do it. And every time I put a shell in there, Haley gets mad. So I'm like, you just do it. You do it. So then when it came to Annie vs. Haley, they're like, just crack some eggs. And I'm like,
You were so proud of yourself when you did it right. I cracked like five in a row without getting a single shell. She goes, I cracked an egg, Haley. And I went. Haley's like, already done with hers. She's already mixing it and like, here we go.
Is it safe to say you might be a better baker than your sister?
I don't know. I guess we'll see more in these competitions.
Yeah, I mean, I guess we'll have to you say you're the better baker. I think I am. I mean, this is called Annie vs. Haley. I know. So you can't really say. I think it's you like baking, but like maybe you like just didn't start baking.
She's trying to say this in the nicest way possible, but really what she means is I'm way better than you.
What other challenges can we look forward to?
Oh, there's oh my gosh. So, in the middle of like every episode, there's a thing called Midway Mayhem and they give us challenges, like right in the middle of it and you have to do that challenge while the time's running.
It's the worst.
Oh, it was so much fun. And I have to say, Annie's were worse than mine. It was so much fun though. Like I got to like shave my face in cupcakes. And Like find a key or something. So the whole time I was baking, I had like cupcake frosting all over my face. I'm like, you took a shower.
She had to Of course I did. She had to like like mix with um what are they? Boxing gloves.
Boxing gloves on. Are you serious? Oh my gosh. You can't hold a spoon.
And I had to vlog while I was cooking. So I only had one hand.
You do that every day. That's not even true.
Oh my gosh. That is amazing. Okay, wait, before we end this, I need to know. I think everyone else does too. What is one secret you can share to becoming a successful YouTube.
Oh, that's a good question. Um, be yourself. That's a good one. I like to say cuz like everyone gets hate comments and I feel like some people just like stop it right as they get like their first or second hate comment. Just don't, like don't mind them. They're going to do it. It happens. Like people are out there just doing that. Like they literally like have an account just to go and put people down and hate on people. So you just really just like don't mind them and just keep doing what you're doing because if that's what you love, then you should do it. Haters. Bye.
