Niki Novac here in the Young Hollywood Studio, and we are shaking it up today. This is our first ever round table fashion discussion, and who better to have here than Caroline Sunshine, fashionista, looking amazing. Thank you for joining us.
Thank you. I'm so excited, this is the first ever.
And on our panel, are two Young Hollywood fabulous staffers who are we we're always talking behind the scenes about fashion, so we figured we'd put it in front of the camera today. Leann and Karen. Thank you for joining us. What we're gonna do, we've all brought in some things that we love, some things we think might be questionable, some things some fashion items we don't know if we should shelf, or put away, and we're gonna call it, crave it, or cringe it. And we're gonna be brutally honest with each other about what we think about each other's fashion. So, get ready. Get ready. Are you ready?
I'm ready.
Okay. So, I'm into everything that Missoni does when they do the collaborate, you know. So these are Missoni. Missoni for Target. These are Missoni for Converse, they did Missoni for Havaianas, and these are just very white. And I wore them once, uh, on a plane and I felt like they were just so clean. What are your thoughts? They're very they're intense. What do I wear them with? I mean, I feel like it's interesting for fall 'cause I usually don't do white shoes after Labor Day. It's like I don't have many fashion rules, but the one rule that I usually do is like, no white shoes after Labor Day. So I I mean they're very winter wonderland, which is lovely. But I don't know about kinda like
I think the best way to rock those, if you're gonna do them in the fall, is with leggings.
I'm gonna make a new word. I'm gonna say craige. 'Cause I can't. I can't tell, like they're such a good idea. I'd have to see them like styled with something for me to be like cringe or crave. So I'm gonna say craige.
I crave. I definitely crave. I crave, they're gorgeous. I think you can wear them with a little dress in the summer, wear them with your leggings in the winter. Mhm. They're great.
So the first thing that I brought in is actually kind of something out of the box even for me. I brought my cowgirl boots. I feel like I'm excited about them for fall because all I wear in fall is boots. And sometimes, you know, I love a great ankle boot, and I I love a great like over the knee or something like that, but I sometimes like things that are a little unexpected. So I thought, you know, just to try a cowgirl boot would be kind of fun.
I'm from the south, so I crave them. I have to crave them, and I love Nashville.
I think I'm craiging.
Craiging.
You're craiging. I'm craiging because I'm so into the western. I love western things. These are cool. And what I like about these is they look vintage but they still look clean and new. And the toe isn't too big, because I hate it when cowgirl.
Me too. I want like a whole selection process. I was like, do we do pointy toe, do we do like total I thought it was a good compromise.
And you're really good at mixing things up, like I love the way you mixed up your saddle shoes with your printed pants, with your nails, so I feel like
Yeah. I think you need to show the the shoes that you're wearing. I think we need to show the shoes. I have to say, these are probably some of my favorite shoes. They have they're like they're steady.
That's just a massive crave. They're just
Thank you.
It's almost better than a grilled cheese. They're almost. You know, my mom got me this five years ago and it still has the tag on it. I don't know if it's something that
Has it have a price tag?
I mean, there the price tag no, but the tag yes. I mean, it was a gift, so, you know, I'm not asking her how much it cost. But, you know.
Oh, so the price was actually ripped off.
Yeah, the price was ripped off. Um, but it's not about it's not about cost. Is this I feel like I need to touch it to be able to evaluate that.
Peel the sequence.
Yeah. It's sequin-y. I mean. I mean, I'm all about a good sequin. I do have like an affection for sequin.
I do too. So that is impressive that it's entirely made of sequins.
I do too. I think if there was no bow, I think I would crave it. But I like I think the bow, you know, you kinda get a get a little. You get a little hold on it. I mean, I don't know if you can always wear it during like it's not like a a day-to-night type thing. Like I never I usually never wear sequins during the day. It's always kinda like a night time thing for me. Right.
I agree. Like New Year's Eve.
I'm gonna say cringe. Oh. Okay. I love your mom. I love your mom. But I'm gonna say cringe only because I just feel like I can't tell if it's really expensive or really not. So I'm gonna say cringe.
That's a very good point. I can't tell either. You're right. It could be like it could be.
Well guys, this was expensive. This is a bag I just got. And I'm kind of excited about it because I do like bright colors. And I feel like uh neon is sometimes maybe it's maybe it's a cringe, maybe it's a crave type thing, especially in fall. But I have a hard time letting neon go sometimes. I never really liked the neon clothing, but I'm really big on neon accessories. So I like this one because it goes from like clutch to bag. Okay. So, I mean, I feel like it has like some function to it, and I do like the black and white look with a pop of color. So I'm like this is a really good pop of color.
You walked in with that and it looked great. Right. I love I crave neon. I can't get over neon. I know people say that neon for fall is gone, it's done. It's so flattering to the skin. I just can't let it go. I don't know. I know you two have a little bit different things in there.
Yeah, I'm kinda cringing neon right now. I'm I never really got into it and I'm really not into it any So. I love the shape of that bag. I feel like neon is something that you either like you love it or you hate it. You know what I mean?
Can you point out that dress? Right. Get a shot of your nails by the way on that neon 'cause that looks insane to me. Yeah. It looks awesome. So I feel like Yeah. Sometimes it photographs better than what you think. You know when you have like days like that, like right. like, "Oh, it looks so good photographed," but in real life you're like, right. "Hmm." So, you know. Right. Is it a craige? Is it a cringe? Is it a
No, no craige. Crave. Crave, crave, crave all the way. You gotta crave. All right. And you have one more?
I did. Okay, so this one, get ready for it. Because I'm pretty excited about it. Maybe a little too excited. Maybe a little too excited. It's it's kind of unusual. This is my new unicorn necklace. Okay. That I found in a random bin in Forever 21.
Woah. I thought you were just gonna say random bin. Not expecting that. Not expecting that, guys. But I kinda like it, because I feel like you'll be like, "Oh, she's wearing a horse necklace. That's really interesting." No. No, it's not. It's a unicorn. And I like jewelry that's kinda like like unexpected, like That's a great necklace. Oh my gosh, it's a unicorn too. So, I mean, what do you guys think? Unicorns aren't very cool, but I was wondering if I could make unicorns cool.
Well, unicorns are much cooler than horses. I have to say. I mean, I think horses are cringing. I mean. I'm gonna cringe a horse, and I'm gonna crave a unicorn.
Yeah. I know. I would have cringed it but I'm craving it by the way you sold it. I I agree. I delivered. I delivered. It's like you walked in, I was like, 'I'm I am.' You're gonna have to say, "This is my necklace and this is the story behind it." To crave it. I know. I feel like I'm getting those tears of joy for you. Thank you. I'm so excited for you. Because fashion is passion.
