How you doing? Young Hollywood. You want to hear like this? You gotta be me. Welcome to Young Hollywood. Well, I'm here with Eric Kim, the designer of Monarchy Collection.
The collection is inspired by, um, a lot of things. I think, uh, it's it's definitely not your basics, it's not your commercial look. I think Paris and Milan have great shows, and I don't think anyone in LA really introduces a line like that. That's the the C-word, couture.
Well, we like the new style and it's like much more of a, uh, fashion with rock and roll look and, uh, with, uh, the Gothic kind of taste to it, right? So it's what's, I mean, it's always appealed to us because, uh, I don't know, you you think of the, uh, Gothic Gothic look from the eighties, you know. And you mix that with your it's 2007 and you create new ideas, new fashions, new trends. What kind of inspiration have you brought to this collection, Michael?
Well, basically, um, you know, they wanted kind of an urban kind of mixture of they wanted a lot of accessories, a lot of scarves. So basically what we did is we took a lot of leather, like, accessories from, like, film. And so I pulled a bunch of stuff from Warner Brothers, and we got a bunch of leather pieces from, uh, Waterworld.
Well, leave it to you to bring the whole costume of design into it. And I hear there's some dirt on the runway.
There's a ton of dirt on the runway. And you'll just have to tune in to find out what that is.
Fantastic. Give it up, yo, for Efrain Ramirez, and this is Carlos Ramirez. And you're with Young Hollywood. Peace.
Hi, I'm Lisa Mor for Young Hollywood. We're at Gibson Guitar, where Doh Haton has their collection being shown, and all the rock stars from LA are coming to get their jeans and check out the new guitars. Come on, let's go check it out.
It is Billy F. Gibbons right here with you right now.
This beard. Yeah. How often do you trim it?
Well, as you may know, the guitar rides about here. The pick acts as a trimming device on occasion. Kind of built-in convenience.
Well, that's fantastic. It's all girls. There's no sausage here. So they want to see your fanny. He wears them low. See what's going on with LA. I mean, we got you know, Scott Weiland. What's your favorite kind of jeans? Do you like dark washes, light washes?
We're black. Black. We're into black. The Doh Haton line has a wide range of just about anything you could dream up. And of course, the great design team that has created this remarkable product, took care, made sure everything was trim, tapered, tailored, and just right. So we're gonna check it out.
What we do, uh, like a tattoo in the in the leg, in a, uh, in a right leg and have a velvet linings, velvet on the waist in the, uh, pocket trims. Um, the hardware's patented, all hand done. So they're almost one of a kind.
Whatever you do, Billy F. Gibbons from ZZ Top says check it out.
