Welcome to younghollywood. com.
Hey, Young Hollywood, I'm Carly Steel and we're here at Barney's where celebrities have come out for the launch of the new Rogan for Target Eco-friendly fashion line.
What is it about this line that you like?
I think it's really wonderful that he is bringing attention to the environment and helping the environment any way we can.
It's 100% organic cotton.
But I've always been obsessed with animal prints.
So this is right up my alley.
I'm all about color.
Greens and like bright yellows.
I respond to that so much.
This is a fantastic line.
It's Target's first eco-friendly line, so I mean it's a very cool thing and I'm here to support that.
Have you made any changes in your life that help, you know, the environment?
Do you have any eco tips?
Every day, recycle like crazy and I, of course, I'm aware because of my two girls.
We're obviously here with the gorgeous Zoe Saldana looking amazing this evening.
Who designed your dress, Zoe?
Beautiful.
Now, what do you think about this Rogan for Target line?
I think it's fantastic.
The collaboration with Barney's and a designer like Rogan and and for it to be Target, it's sending out such a strong message and it doesn't matter what class or whatever, it can be well made, it can be beautiful while you're still taking pride in your environment.
Now, have you had a little time to peruse the line?
Have you seen anything you like, any favorite pieces?
I see those tank tops over there.
Those are great for a day like today.
Cotton, breezy, easy.
You could put on flip-flops.
In terms of bargain hunting, do you have any good tips?
You want to mix and match.
You want to always have some pieces that you you have invested in like shoes or a bag and then you can mix that up with really cheap pieces and still be very fashionable.
I think one of the bigger commitments I've made on top of driving a hybrid car is not doing bottled water anymore.
That's a major thing just in how much less waste you produce.
But, you know, 1. 5 billion plastic single-serving size bottles a year go un-recycled.
The toxins that plastics release in general are terrible for the planet.
