WOMEN WE LOVE: Ryan Destiny

Ryan Destiny. The name has a ring to it, right?!

It’s definitely no coincidence the actress booked her breakout role in Fox’s musical drama "Star". (That's she to the left to the left...)

We think it’s safe to say she’s a star in her own right.

Whether she’s booking movie and television roles back-to-back, riding four-wheelers in Jamaica celebrating with her equally famous girl gang, or casually shutting Instagram down with her killer outfits, Ryan Destiny is without a doubt a star.

And the 25-year-old has quickly skyrocketed to the top because of it. She played her first lead network television role as Alexandra Jones on "Star" in 2016 opposite Queen Latifah, and we haven’t stopped seeing her pretty little face since.

The beauty recently landed her first feature film as she takes on the lead role of professional boxer Clarissa Shields in Flint Strong, plus she joined Season 3 of the Yara Shahidi-led spinoff "Grown-ish".

We’d say she’s doing just fine since the show that put on her the map was cancelled last year by Fox. But wait, did you really think we were done with her list of achievements?

This black queen was featured in Foot Locker’s most recent campaign and was also in fellow Detroit native Big Sean’s most recent music video "Single Again".

But get this. The man who plays her love interest in the video (peep them matching in jean jackets at the end) is her real-life boyfriend/rising actor Keith Powers. And let us tell you, they are actually the cutest young couple in Hollywood right now. Proof:
