WOMEN WE LOVE: Meagan Good

Written by Courtney Allen. Published: February 12 2020

You may know Meagan Good from when she was friends with a puppet on Nickelodeon’s "Cousin Skeeter", or from Steve Harvey’s famous self-help book-turned-movie Think Like A Man… or maybe just for the simple the fact that she’s a shocking 38 years old and she doesn’t look a day over 25.

And the thing that blows are minds is that she looks even better in person (true story— we’ve seen her at the gym). The woman is an undeniable beauty with talent that has spanned for decades. And lucky for us, we’ve had a front row seat to all her success.

We could sit and brag on her extensive list of television and movie appearances on IMDb -- which includes appearances in Friday, Stomp The Yard, Saw V, "Californication", "Law & Order: SVU", and Shazam! -- but they literally go on forever. And if you don’t recognize her name, we’ll bet you know her gorgeous face. But she’s so much more than that.

It’s no surprise that her long-standing acting career has since propelled her into the world of creativity behind the camera. The queen made her directorial debut just last year for indie drama If Not Now, When, which she also produced and starred in. And we can’t help but think this is only the beginning for her as a leader on set.

But what we love most about Meagan Good? She has been an incredible role model for young girls and women of all ages since we can remember. She is a symbol of class, grace, and just the right amount of modesty and sexy.

Her husband, Hollywood producer and renowned preacher Devon Franklin, must think so too!

The pair married in 2012 and put an end to all our burning questions about who in the world was going to sweep this incredible woman off her feet… finally!

Currently you can check her out in the FOX crime drama "Prodigal Son" as FBI Special Agent Colette Swanson.

It makes us so happy to see the vet actress booked, busy, and happily in love!

And if you’re wondering what’s next for her, she’ll tell you herself: kids… to complete their beautiful family. Picture perfect.
