“The Bachelor” Recap, Episode 7: Peter’s In Love!

Written by Nicole Koch. Published: February 11 2020

Bachelor Nation, how the hell are ya?

In last night’s episode (#7), we suddenly go from 45 girls to 4 and hometowns are NEXT WEEK!

As per usual, so much happened and I broke it all down for ya below:

The Most Dramatic Moment

Kelley stans, are you still here? This moment goes to her 100%.

Spoiler alert – Kelley thought she had Peter’s heart in the bag and ended up being eliminated. Quick refresher if you need it: Kelley and Peter “ran into each other” months before filming, and they both believed that meant they were supposed to give their connection a real shot.

Peter even admitted he felt like he may have kept her longer because of that reason. It was awkward because she REALLY thought she was going to be his wife and ended up talking negatively about the other girls and how they weren’t great matches. We definitely saw a whole other side of her last night!

The Cringiest Moment

This moment goes to good ol' Victoria F.

She told Peter he’s "always in a mood" and it was cringy af because Peter is so emotionally steady all the time? He tries to have a honest conversation with her and she immediately gets on the defensive, and it’s extremely uncomfortable to watch.

The Most Emotional Moment

PETER IS SO CUTE IN THIS MOMENT. HE TELLS MADISON (HE CALLS HER MADDIE) THAT HE’S FALLING IN LOVE WITH HER.

As soon as she hears those words, she starts to tear up and her little chin quivers and it’s the most wholesome moment ever.

They just look like they’re meant to be together, and I LOVE them. Reminder, she already met his parents, so they’re in the fast lane to a real relationship!

The “Yes, Girl!” Moment

I’m giving this moment to my girl Hannah Ann!

She brought her walls down, and like a little school girl, read out loud a letter she wrote to Peter, with all the reasons she’s starting to fall for him. It’s honestly so cute and totally cheesy, like she said.

We love cheesy in this house!

The Funniest Moment

Unfortunately there’s no clip for this moment but my watch party and I thought it was totally hilarious (and honestly really great!) that Hannah Ann and Kelsey are suddenly super close. Let’s not forget #ChampagneGate!

Throughout the episode, you see these two relaxing together, talking out their thoughts and feelings, and giving each other big hugs!

At the end of the day, we love women supporting women!
