Why We Love the Curry Family!

Written by Brittany Taormina. Published: July 22 2015

Calling all fans of the Curry Family… which, let's face it, means EVERYONE!

The Curry family has taken the world by storm after 3-year-old, Riley Curry became an Internet sensation during a post-game NBA press conference with dad, Stephen Curry. Not to mention, her father is the MVP of the NBA. The outpouring of love for the Curry family only grew from there. Here are 3 reasons why we LOVE this family so much!

1. Stephen Curry…enough said

Everyone knows that Step Curry is a sharp 3-point shooter, but there are many other reasons why we love him! First of all, we know he listens to great music thanks to Ms. Riley. After the Golden State Warriors won the WCF, Riley made it clear that her father likes to listen to Big Sean. During the press conference, Riley decided to make a mad dash for the microphone and say, “WAAYY UP I FEEL BLESSED!” The Internet loved it! Have you also seen Steph’s dancing skills? If you haven’t, you may want to check out the videos below!

Steph has an immense amount of appreciation for his family, which was seen in his MVP Speech. He’s a truly humble person, and we are proud of his accomplishments.

2. Riley Curry knows how to make you smile

Move over, Dad… I’m the real MVP! If this girl doesn’t make you smile, I don’t know what will! I’m convinced that Steph gets his dance skills from Riley. She also commenced her third Birthday with dancing to “Watch Me Whip/Nae Nae” by Silento, which was posted on Ayesha Curry's Instagram.

She is also the cutest when mimicking Steph’s chest tap!

3. Ayesha Curry’s cooking
YH readers, you need to go and check out Ayesha’s YouTube Channel, “Little Lights Of Mine.” There are great videos of what she likes to cook and what life is like as a mom. In the header of her page, it says, “In a world full of dark this is my place to give thanks and share the people places and things that bring light into my life.” She has a positive, upbeat attitude about life that is very contagious.

We love the Curry family, and we also congratulate them on the birth of their new baby girl, Ryan. We wish Steph another NBA Championship and we definitely hope for more press conferences with Riley!

We can't wait until Riley is old enough for her own Twitter or Instagram account!
