What To Wear To Pride 2023!

Now that it’s June, it’s officially Pride Month, which is full of parades and events celebrating equality and love for all! Pride parades and celebrations have been happening since the early 1970s thanks to the trans women of color who paved the way for Pride to get bigger and bigger each year. Another constant in Pride has been the fashion. Millions of people around the world take the streets in their most colorful, glittery, and prideful outfits to recognize the awesomeness of the LGBTQ+ community. If you’re thinking about attending this year for yourself, or to support someone else, but aren’t sure what to wear, don’t worry. We’ve got you covered with all sorts of ideas and tricks to make you feel and look your very best!

1. Statement T-Shirts

Sometimes, a simple T-shirt with a specific set of words on it can send a powerful message. Paired with some shorts or bottoms of your choice, T-shirts can be gender-neutral, comfy, and flattering on everyone. 2. Sequins and Sparkles

Who doesn’t love a little sparkle? An eye-catching array of sequins on your outfit can really do the trick and make you stand out more than ever! Sequined dresses and skirts look amazing with fishnets, and a bodysuit or cute crop-top adorned with some sparkles are always a hit. These tops can also be paired with a cool pair of bell-bottoms for that vintage look and feel. Another idea is matching your sequined outfit with a pair of sparkly shoes, from bedazzled Converse to your highest pair of sparkly heels. If you’re looking for a fun and easy way to get your Pride on, rainbow accessories are the way to go! Besides shoes, jazzing up your outfit with rainbow-striped socks or tie-dye sunglasses are a great look, especially over a simple black or white outfit. 4. Glitter Makeup

If you’ve finished putting together your perfect Pride outfit but want to complete your look, we recommend adding some glitter makeup to that lovely face of yours! 5. Rainbow Hair Dye

At last, but not least, one final way to show your Pride is with temporary colored hair dye. Brands like Good Dye Young and Arctic Fox both have Pride packs and collections of every color you can think of to temporarily dye your hair this Pride. These usually come with a little container of bleach and the right tools to correctly color your hair. If you want less commitment without the bleach, though, we recommend L’Oreal Paris’s spray dyes. These are just cans of hair dye that you can spray onto your hair and will rinse out after one wash! It’s fun and easy to do at home or with a friend and a great way to spice up your gorgeous locks all month long!
