Sometimes, watching television isn’t as accessible as the mobile device that is stuck to your hand all day long. After a long day at work or school, it might be easier to just lay down in bed and scroll on your phone for hours and hours at a time. Most of us are stuck on TikTok nowadays, scrolling endlessly, trying to keep entertained.

Finding a series is easy when you’re watching television. Now that all of our favorite shows are split up between many expensive streaming memberships, it’s harder to get access to the series you love. Instead of TV, try watching interesting series on TikTok. Here are the 3 best series to watch we're following right now!

1. "Unnecessary Necessities"

Sometimes, if my Amazon shopping cart is empty for too long, my desire to buy useless items gets the best of me. Without a list of things I want, I tend to rack up a total of hundreds of dollars. So, if you need some inspo for inexpensive items to spend your hard-earned money on, search up “unnecessary necessities” on TikTok.

You will get hundreds of results of people who buy random organizational or helpful items on Amazon and review the products for you. You can get inspo for travel hacks, kitchen hacks, and room or bathroom "essentials". You can also get inspo for work-related activities as well.

@painfulpleasures Is it an absolutely die-hard necessity? No, but does it eliminate a really annoying part of the set-up process? YUP #tattooartist#tattoosupplies#tattoosetup#tattootips#howtotattoo#tattootipsandtricks#tattooapprentice#painfulpleasures#screammovie♬Lo-fi hip hop - NAO-K

Most of us do have some desire to keep our households clean and organized. An organized home is great for mental health and cleaning is great for relieving stress. With “unnecessary necessities” on TikTok, you can make sure you are buying good tools to keep yourself organized and stress-free.

Also, a lot of the products for “unnecessary necessities” are great for making life easier even if it's not organization-based. There are plenty of kitchenware, school supplies, and project-based products being reviewed that you might get the perfect inspiration to make your life easier. Many can even relate to self-care, which can be great for de-stressing.

2. "What I Ordered Versus What I Got"

This is one of my personal favorite series, not just on TikTok, but also on Snapchat. These videos always keep me entertained for hours. Not only does it give helpful advice on what clothes to get or stay away from, but also adds a bit of humor to your day.

These videos are usually clothing reviews from common online stores like Amazon or Shein, but can also be from any store that you tend to shop at. Just search “what I ordered versus what I got [insert name of store you like]". Most of the time, you will find reviews for most of the popular in-style clothes you might have in your shopping cart.

Most videos are extremely humorous because the product description or picture online is about as far off as you could imagine when the unlucky person who ordered it actually goes to try it on. Usually, the people reviewing the product have a great sense of humor and laugh it off as they show the rest of us their fashion fail.

As we said, most of the products in this series happen to be clothing items; however, there are still plenty of other non-clothing items being reviewed in these series. Instead of searching for a store in the search bar, search “what I ordered versus what I got [insert product you want]” to get results that fit what you are wanting to buy to get a good idea of good vs bad products.

3. Storytimes

If you are a fan of drama, this one's for you. “Storytimes” are often just creators sharing stories that are jam-packed with drama. I hate being involved in my own drama, so this is a perfect escape to simply just indulge in other people’s. This one also works great too if you're just a nosy person who wants to know other people’s business.

Mostly, creators will share stories from work, school, home, friends, or family. It’s perfect because, just like “what I ordered versus what I got”, you can add to the search to find what topic you want the stories to be about. Most of the storytimes are entertaining, funny, or shocking, so they will keep you entertained for hours.

A lot of times, I will use this series to try to find solutions for the drama happening in my own life as well. In the comments, people will try to relate to the creator or give advice on what to do to rectify the situation they are in. If you find videos that relate to your situation, you might find the advice that you might very well need.

Happy scrolling!
