Oscars 2020: The Top 5 Most Iconic Red Carpet Looks!

Written by Nicole Koch. Published: February 10 2020

Good afternoon, movie buffs!

Did you tune into the 92nd Oscars last night?!

There were SO many incredible films this year, and in case you missed it, I’m pleased to say Parasite by director Bong Joon-Ho basically swept the entire show! As a half-Korean gal myself, I’m beyond proud of the entire Parasite team.

We also got an amazing performance by Eminem, who rapped his heart out to his legendary "Lose Yourself". He got a standing ovation from the entire theatre and it was so fun to watch!

There were a lot of other cool moments from last night, but I’m here to recap the red carpet lewks so let’s get to it! Here are the top 5 most iconic red carpet fits!

1. Sandra Oh

I’m sorry, WHAT?

She is a freakin’ legend, and this color is gorgeous on her. The dramatic sleeves are so fun and I love that the bottom of the dress matches them.

She was a glittery angel gliding down the carpet and it’s definitely a gown I wish I could wear! Cheers, Sandra. Love you.

2. Janelle Monae

Okay, this one made me gasp when I first saw it. It’s SO STUNNING, I can’t even begin to explain the level of love I have for this gown.

The headpiece makes it so magical and her bright red lip makes you take a second look for sure. Incredible.

3. Billie Eilish

Does Billie do any wrong?! Nope.

I LOVE the all-white Chanel suit with her bright green hair. Her nails are epic and she knows it. She came to stunt and she didn’t disappoint. Love you, Billie!

4. Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett wore this BEAUTIFULLY.

The detail on the top of her dress is so perfect and I love how the dress falls on her shape. The clean, fresh face makeup she rocked really pulled this whole look together. So pure, so angelic.

5. Brie Larson

I. NEED. THIS. DRESS. THE CAPE, YOU GUYS.

I don’t even know what else to say about this gown other than she’s a dream and there’s no doubt she was turning heads last night. It’s so elegant and feminine, and she wore it with confidence. We love you, Captain Marvel.
