If you can believe it, it has been almost half a year since we collectively fell in love with Noah Centineo in Netflix's To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, and the withdrawals are real. At some point, his thirsty tweets just aren’t enough to fill the gaping hole he left in our lives. But I have good news. Perhaps the best news I’ve ever had for you. Netflix has heard our cries and is coming in hot to save the day.
Recently, 2 very important pictures showed up on Netflix’s social media announcing a new movie all about -- drumroll please -- Noah Centineo being the perfect boyfriend. That’s right. The new flick, titled The Perfect Date, will be a rom-com about a young man named Brooks Rattigan (I’m dying at this name) who’s trying to save up some money to get himself through college. To do so, he creates an app where people can hire him to fill in for their absentee partners. Of course, as I’m sure you guessed, things get interesting when Brooks (lol) ends up falling in love with one of the girls that he meets.
There were two other familiar faces in the photo Netflix released. Camila Mendes (you may know her as "Riverdale" resident Veronica Lodge) is looking all dolled up for a dinner date with Noah, who also happens to be looking hella dapper in a suit (though I do have a few questions about that bow tie). And Laura Marano, of Disney fame, is dressed and ready to dance with the boy of all of our dreams.
This is already a perfect cast, but I’m just wondering… who will be the girl winning the Noah Centineo lottery this time around? We’ll have to wait until Summer to find out, but I have a feeling I won’t care either way!
In the meantime, you can get your weekly Noah fix on Freeform's new series "Good Trouble" every Tuesday night at 8pm!
