Black Widow (May 1, 2020)

Directed by Somersault’s Cate Shortland, the long-rumored Black Widow solo film is finally happening. Feige introduced the cast of the upcoming spinoff, starring Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff, David Harbour ("Stranger Things") as Alexi, O-T Fagbenle ("The Handmaid's Tale") as Mason, Oscar-winner Rachel Weisz as Malena, and Midsommar's Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova. The timeline of the film takes place shortly after Captain America: Civil War, making it a prequel to the more recent Avengers films. While the project had only been filming for about 30 days, the cast managed to feature a teaser fight scene between Johansson and Pugh exclusively for fans in attendance. The eponymous spin-off film is set to hit theaters next summer!

Eternals (November 6, 2020)

Marvel’s next slated project is an Eternals filmbased on Jack Kirby’s The Eternals comics. The plot will follow a group of immortal beings as they watch over Earth. Its star-studded cast took the stage soon after Fiege confirmed the film, featuring Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie as Thena, Richard Madden ("Game of Thrones") as Icarus, Kumail Nanjiani (Stuber) as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff ("The Walking Dead") as the first deaf superhero Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry (Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse) as Phastos, Oscar nominee Salma Hayek as Ajak, Lia McHugh (Hot Summer Nights) as Sprite, and South Korean action star Dong-seok Ma as Gilgamesh. Directed by The Rider’s Chloe Zhao, Eternals is set for release next Fall!

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (February 12, 2021)

This next Phase 4 project has introduced a new hero to the Marvel cinematic universe -- the martial arts master Shang-Chi! Directed by Short Term 12’s Daniel Destin Cretton, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will star newcomer, Chinese-Canadian actor Simu Liu, as Shang-Chi. Liu is best known for his role in the popular Canadian TV show “Kim’s Convenience”. Casting Liu in the upcoming project is big deal for Marvel, as Liu will be the first Asian lead in a Marvel movie to date. Tony Leung has also joined the project as Mandarin and Crazy Rich Asians’s Awkawfina is attached to the cast as well. You can see Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings in theaters in early 2021!

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (May 7. 2021)

Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen are set to reprise their roles as Doctor Strange and Wanda Maximoff in Marvel’s latest project Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which has been described as Marvel's first "horror" film. Color us intrigued! With Scott Derrickson returning to direct, the sequel is slated to hit theaters in the summer of 2021.

Thor: Love and Thunder (November 5, 2021)

The Thor franchise is growing… with a twist! In what was perhaps the biggest bombshell of the entire panel, Marvel announced that, for the first time, a Lady Thor is bringing the thunder. And not just any lady -- a lady with a Ph.D, thankyouverymuch. Natalie Portman, who previously appeared in the Thor franchise as astrophysicist Jane Foster in 2011’s Thor and 2013’s Thor: The Dark World, is returning to the MCU to wield Mjolnir for Phase 4! This fourth installment will be directed and written by Thor: Ragnarok's Taika Waititi and will also star Chris Hemsworth, as well as Tessa Thompson returning as Valkyrie, whom Marvel has confirmed as its first major LGBT character. The cheekily titled Thor: Love and Thunder is slated for release in the fall of 2021.

Blade (TBD)

The Day-Walker is back! After the rights to the Blade comics were returned to Marvel from New Line Cinema following a series of late-'90s/early-2000s films starring Wesley Snipes, Feige immediately called up 2-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali to take on the role of the half-human/half-vampire hero, who immediately said yes! Officially, this project is for Phase Five, but there's a better than average chance that Blade could be introduced in the new Doctor Strange movie, so keep your eyes peeled!
