ICYMI: Netflix Now Carrying Tons of Your Nickelodeon Faves!

Written by Rishi Patel. Published: November 17 2019

A platter of Nickelodeon content has recently been added to Netflix!

This came as an initial surprise to me, since I was not aware of this content being added to the streaming giant beforehand. And trust me, I ALWAYS check what’s coming to Netflix each month! Nickelodeon films/shows on Netflix have generally been a rare sight, and I don’t recall seeing much from the network in the few years I have had the streaming service.

Well, when it rains, it pours! The amount of Nick material now is plentiful! You certainly have a chance to experience nostalgia upon rewatching some films/shows from the past.

Let’s get to the best part, what you have been waiting for, as you may be wondering what exactly got added! Well, popular shows such as “Victorious” and “Sam & Cat” headline the list!

“Victorious” first premiered in 2010 and centered around Tori Vega’s (Victoria Justice) adventures at a performing arts high school. “Sam & Cat” is a spinoff of “iCarly” and “Victorious”, which featured Sam Puckett (Jennette McCurdy) from the former and Cat Valentine (Ariana Grande) from the latter striking up a friendship and opening a baby-sitting service together.

Another series added was “Bella and the Bulldogs”, which first aired in 2015. This show focused on Bella Dawson (Brec Bassinger), a middle schooler who gets the stellar opportunity to be quarterback of the football team.

The Rugrats Movie, Rugrats in Paris: The Movie, The Boy Who Cried Werewolf, and Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie are among some of the Nick original films added to the streaming service! Big Time Movie, the film adaptation of the Nick series “Big Time Rush”, starring the pre-fab boy band Big Time Rush, is also available!

Whether more Nick content will pop up on Netflix soon remains to be seen, but the streaming giant may still have some surprises waiting up its sleeve!

Which of these additions would you want to (re) watch?!
