After a string of event cancellations in 2020, award ceremonies in 2021 have been back in full swing and better than ever! The past year of music has offered more creativity and up-and-coming artists than the music industry has seen in a while.
The Billboard Music Awards had nothing less than stellar performances from all of our favorite artists, and some pretty amazing fashion moments. We’ve rounded up some of the highlights of the award ceremony, so buckle in because there’s a ton to unpack!

P!nk was presented with the 2021 Icon Award (the youngest person to ever receive the honor) and put on a spectacular performance featuring her daughter Willow. The pair performed an aerial routine together that had pretty much everyone in tears!
BTS had a huge night, winning 4 BBMAs and performing their new hit single “Butter” for the very first time.
The Weeknd took home the award for Top Artist, beating out nominees like Drake and Taylor Swift. He also gave a stylish parking lot performance of his single “Save Your Tears” from his latest album After Hours.
The Jonas Brothers reunited and closed the show for a medley performance of their most popular songs, including the first-ever performance of their brand new single featuring Marshmello, “Leave Before You Love Me”,

Alicia Keys, stunning as always, sported an all-pink Valentino look that we cannot stop looking at!
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas were once again the most impeccably dressed couple at the event! Priyanka wore a long-sleeve, sheer gown donned with crystals, and her husband Nick wore an all-green Fendi suit.
Saweetie looked like a total princess at the award show, wearing a coral-toned strapless gown from Giambattista Valli, perfect to kick-start Summer!
