The 4 Best YouTube Channels for Home Workouts!

Written by Sarrah Wolfe. Published: April 01 2020

Just because your gym isn’t open doesn’t mean you have to let your fitness goals go by the wayside. In fact, now is the time if ever to focus on those goals!

If you’re starting to get cabin fever from this quarantine, one of the best ways to combat that is to get up and get moving! Even though access to equipment may be a challenge, there are SO many great options for working out at home right at the touch of your fingertips!

In order to make the transition to home workouts a little bit easier on you, we’re highlighting some of the best workout channels for all levels in all areas! If you’re looking to get some #gainz, you need to check these channels out!

1. Popsugar

Popsugar has SO many fun workouts! Each workout is led by an expert trainer and provides modifications to make the exercises easier or harder so that any level can join in!

The channel has playlists for different types of exercise to make it easy to find a workout that you like. Wanna get moving and grooving to the beat? Check out the DanceFit playlist! Looking to sweat out some of your anger and frustration at the current state of the world? They’ve got a playlist for kickboxing!

Whatever kind of workout you’re feeling, you’ll find it here!

2. MadFit

Next up is Maddie Lymburner’s channel, MadFit, and let me tell you, the name doesn’t lie. She is MAD fit. Seriously, abs for days.

Her channel is great when you’re really crunched for time and space but still want to get a good pump going. Her workouts are generally 10-20 minutes, but don’t think that just because they’re short that you won’t be sore the next day. Trust me, you will definitely be feeling these workouts.

3. OfficialThenx

OfficialThenx is a more intense calisthenics-based channel that uses some “equipment” that you probably already have at home, like a kitchen counter or a table.

OfficialThenx exercises may be a little bit more challenging than the previous channels, but modifications and tips are provided if you’re just starting out!

My favorite thing about these videos is that trainer Chris Heria gets really creative with whatever resources are available so you’ll have no excuse not to workout!

4. YogaWithAdrienne

YogaWithAdrienne is the perfect channel if you’re looking to really decompress from a stressful week.

Her videos are so soothing and easy to follow, and her videos are tailored to all levels and all types of people. Whether you’re an athlete or an artist, there’s something for you. Her channel really helps you understand how to reconnect and rebalance yourself through yoga, which I’m sure is something we could all use right now.

Happy sweating!
