The adorable cherub has been stealing the hearts (and wallets) of millions. Collectors have been using TikTok to find communities where they can meet up to buy, sell, or trade amongst each other.

"Born" in 2004 by the Japanese brand Dreams Inc. Sonny Angel is an 18 cm figurine of a boy angel who enjoys wearing different hats and costumes. Sonny Angels come in blind boxes, with the possibility of 12 different figures including a secret figure and the ultra rare Robby, a rabbit-like figure.

Dreams Inc. describes Sonny Angel to “provide healing moments in your everyday life. He is a welcome sight at the entrance to your home, next to your bed, on your desk and so many other places." Because of this, Sonny Angel fans bring their little babies with them everywhere they go for emotional support.

Now on TikTok, Sonny Angel fans are finding new ways to bring the angel baby with them. Creators like Alixe (@imageekthebigparadox) have been turning the Sonny Angels into keychains.
