Best Looks at the 56th Academy of Country Music Awards!
Last night (April 18), the Academy of Country Music Awards (ACMAs) hosted its 56th ceremony last night to honor the best of the best in country music. With categories like Entertainer of the Year and more directed specifically towards country music and hosted by Keith Urban and Mickey Guyton also brought in another wave of fabulously dressed stars. These stunning moments are honestly half of the show, and we love seeing celebrities in their stunning designerwear for these awards. Here were some of our favorites from last night!
1. Mickey Guyton
Guyton really was the hostess-with-the-mostess in her glamourous Naeem Khan gown. The cream color dress featured long-sleeves and subtle featured detail on the top, making for a sleek and stylish choice for the awards, especially with the beautiful sheer sleeves.
2. Tenille Arts
Arts looks straight out of a fairy tale in her custom brown Dolce & Gabanna gown, made edgier with chains and metal accents throughout. It looks almost as though a large fabric draped over her and held together by chains, one off the shoulder and one on, and it’s a beautiful mix of feminine with a little punk in there too.
3. Jimmie Allen
Allen’s look was all about the details, and every one of them made a statement. From the navy blue Black Menswear suit with a bold white color and stripes down the leg and the large silver necklaces and rings, to the white Jordans and the matching hat, Allen melded red carpet style with casual accents. The big rings and chains make his look stand out even more, continuing to add fun and sophistication to his suit.
4. Leslie Jordan
The King of Instagram gave us a perfect country & western-style red carpet look for the awards show. With detailed, colorful embroidery throughout his golden suit paying homage to all-things desert, there are few other looks that reflected high fashion like Jordan’s did. Not to mention the brown cowboy boots – would it really be a country show without some?
5. Karen Fairchild
How cool is Fairchild’s look?! She opted for a shorter dress rather than a long one for the red carpet, and paired it with tall grey over-the-knee boots. Her pleated, layered Stella McCartney dress is not only an incredible shimmery mix of gold and silver, but also actually looks surprisingly comfortable. Who says you have to give up comfort for style?
6. Ingrid Andress
Straight out of a summer dream, Andress looked incredible in this boho-style fringe bra top and light blue pants by Stella McCartney. The silver fringe is even longer than her pants, dusting her feet and her matching sky-blue pumps. The color combination and the fun vibe of this look overall made it such a stand-out.
As awards show season continues, we are continuously graced with designer and custom pieces and looks that blow us out of the water, almost as much as the stars’ performances do. This year’s ACM Awards were no different, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of award show season has in store for us!
